There are over 700 maps in the plugin manager now.

FYI, there already are NA, europe, Asia, Space, etc sections in there now.

*Manimal wonders if it's coincidence that the current first seed is weighted 10, while beetroot was weighted just under 3 one week.

I think it would be kinda nifty if on the player profile page the lowest seed weight was displayed, along with the rank of that seed.
i feel this is important because there is often large discrepancies between weights (some people reach 1st seed with a weight of 10, while others get down below 3)

just thought it might be a cool feature

I think Map names should be listed as flashplayer banners with animations and quirky sounds associated with each map! w00t!

I second that Mark.

I think we have about 300-400 maps now. And not many ways to organise them in the plug in manager. It is worthwhile to organize that a bit. Your suggestion would help.

For the MotY awards we have the maps organised in US, Europe, Azia, Space, etc. Could this be an option for the plug in manager too? Having thumb nails would help also i think.

In the plugin manager we have a "New Releases" and a "Top Rated" section. How about a new section called something like "User Reccomendations" that gets updated every month. So every month we could have a thread in the Map Room asking for people's favorite maps and suggestions to put in this section.

We could have a month dedicated to a particualr author, or a particular theme (ie hex maps). This would give older maps the opportunity to stay in the limelight.

What do you think?

Personally, I think all map titles should be formatted the same. It actually bothers me that some are different (ie ALL CAPS or no caps) (no disrespect Behemoth and blackj3sus), but that's just me. I think giving authors more options would make the plugin manager very difficult for me to look at.

Dustin, you can only do that if you have the written consent of Behe....
I'm not sure you are able to organise that....

So the only other option is: more options.....

I like to make a reservation here and now for a slowly pulsating slightly vibrating Roman font in foxy brown and blood red.

Titles in color and featuring exotic touches like 'bold' or 'underlined' seem a little heavy handed, but if that sort of thing rocks your boat then dive in.

Anyone planning to name their map using CAPITALS must of course apply for my consent in writing.

More options on the cycle feature would be nice I agree. I like having it cycle 3 at times... but 5 would be nice for crowded rooms and tournaments.

Sine BEHEMOTH started it, everyone is using CAPITALS now (see the BETAs).

+1 for Lux on Adroid

I've switched to Android. The one and ONLY thing I sorely miss from my iPhone is the Lux app. I even still carry my iPhone on long trips just so I can still play Lux.

Please please please, port to Android!
