I am still unable to use the plug-in manager to download any maps. It keeps saying that I have no intermet connection or my firewall will not let lux download. I have an internet connection. I disabled all my firewalls. But I still get the same message. Does anyone know of something else that could be causing this problem or have any other suggestions for what I can try?

Or more specifically, when I open a previously saved map the countries are there. As soon as I overlay the image file again, the countries disappear.

I am working on a fairly large map that doesn't allow for building all of the countries in one sitting, but I have already lost a few good hours of work, so am hesitant to continue until I know better what's going wrong. Any ideas anyone?

Oddly enough, I haven't encountered any similar topic heading in the first few screens on the forum here. It's a shame there doesn't seem to be a search function for all topics, because I'm sure that someone else would have encountered this problem previously...

Hello. I love playing Lux, and I really liked the "Downtown Lux" map. But lately, I get an error message when I try to play it: java.lang.NullPointerException. The map used to run just fine, but now it won't.

I'm using a desktop iMac with Intel processor, and I believe I have the latest version of Java installed.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I may be creating countries incorrectly, but I've done this four times and I think this is right. Going around circular areas to create an area leave lots of dots to align, and I need to know if I need to go to "adjust country size" and make all the lines and dots line up.

Also, I have a background that looks like parchment and I resized it to match the pixel size of my map and it's teensy! I don't know why that is, when the dimensions of the sample map in the tutorial are smaller. I'm hoping size adjustments can be made simply when it's put together.

Thanks for all input!

My map is a certain size in the editor, but it gets cut off when I go to play it.

Is my computer's resolution the limiting factor?
What is a standard size for most maps? (I have a HUGE map and I don't want to lose the level of detail that I've got here).

This actually will included Essos and the parts of Sothoryos that we have seen through book 5.

The map is HUGE and in the process of creating it, I have apparently left some incomplete country artifacts.

When I attempt to load the map, it tells me there is a country with no connections. When I try to find it in the editor, I can't seem to locate it. I'm assuming it is a straight line somewhere and too small for me to see.

Any ideas for locating/deleting this country artifact?

I have made map called Mega Map, it's essentially the same as the traditional Risk map however it has a BUNCH more countries and different bonuses.

It really opens the game to make it last longer and include more strategies! It is pretty intense.

I uploaded version 1.0 like 2 weeks ago.. hasn't shown up yet though on new releases... I uploaded version 1.1 today to fix a small error as well.

Anyone wanna see a screen cap of it for enticement?
