Customize Team Abilities?

Is there a way to make it so that a team can only use pawns, and one can only use knights?

No, that can't be done.
Why would you like to do that? It makes little sense, since both units have different attack/defense values and cost a different amout of gold. It's part of common game strategy to build a specific amout of both units depending on the game situation.

Because I'm working on a map that has two very different characters. I don't want to share the same knight and pawn png. Is there a way to make each team have different pawn and knight images then?

I'm sorry, but different team unit icons won't work either. You can only separate players by color, and they will have the same unit icons.

I still don't understand how a map could make that "necessary", but it's ok. Maybe you could share a map image later.

seems possible, ask one of the ai guys how to edit the bots
(reset value where the bot chooses which units to buy)

just please! name them like pawnbot and knightbot or something.
i was hurt when i found out earl wasn't real... :cry:
