This one is copied from Civ5. When invading a city/castle that used to belong to an ally give option to liberate giving that castle back to original owner.

A similar rule was implemented in all of the Axis & Allies games – if you conquer territory that belongs to an ally who is still in the game (i.e. still holds their capital and has not been eliminated), then that territory is given directly to that ally.

For example, in a WWII scenario, if Britain retakes the Caucasus from Germany, and the Soviet Union currently holds Moscow, then the Caucasus is returned to the Soviet Union instead of being given to Britain. By contrast, if Britain retakes Normandy from Germany, but Germany still holds Paris, then Britain is given the territory instead - however, if Paris is retaken, France will re-enter the game and reclaim possession of all of its original territories that are currently being held by allies.

In Lux Alliance, the equivalent of holding your capital would be holding any Castle/HQ, though perhaps this could be altered in unit customization?
