map dimming since update?

Now running Lux 6.44 (released May 1st) on Mac OS 10.6. Is it a new "feature" that the map dims for a split second every time my turn starts?

Please say yes, otherwise my brand new LED TV/monitor is going bad.

It's a new option: to flash the map when your turn starts (it's meant to help remind you it's your turn, especially if you have sound turned off). You can turn this feature off in the preferences window.
