BIO-ROMA Tournament
BIO-ROMA Tournament
Starting tomorrow on March 16th there will be a BIO-ROMA tournament starting, challenging you with Biohazard settings on the Romanum IIb map. Pure human games, No bots! Games require 3 humans to count. The room will be open periodically for the next couple weeks...

But Bio sucks.....
Re: BIO-ROMA Tournament
Roman Tournament is a great idea.
A bio-Roman Tournament 2b is an awful idea.
More Roma Less Bio

Re: BIO-ROMA Tournament
not to rain on the parade even more but also this whole 'no bot only human' games IMO has been an awful idea. Just throw in a trotsky to add more cards to the game - They don't asshat anyone and you still have to attack them to take income just like you would a normal player. And they don't die very easily at all - Trotsky will get suspiciously strong before you even realize it.

Apparently, the creator does not count.

Oh I just thought the implication of a decision from a game creator about their own game is that the game creator believes said decision is a good decision.RogueMonk wrote:Dustin didn't claim it as a good idea.

BS - you don't believe that.kitty on catnip wrote:Oh I just thought the implication of a decision from a game creator about their own game is that the game creator believes said decision is a good decision.

More misplaced bio hate from the bio hate club. Jeez.
Re: BIO-ROMA Tournament
I don't know about bio Rome II, but bio IRE is very fun and more fun than regular IRE at 2,3, and sometimes four players.
Re: BIO-ROMA Tournament
Sorry folks, today did not work out for this. I'll try and get this happening tomorrow

Up and running now, come play me!
Re: BIO-ROMA Tournament
Good idea to make sure you have the Imperium Romanum IIb map installed, so the bio theme shows up properly for you!
Re: BIO-ROMA Tournament
Yes everyone come play in the "FuN" tournament!
Perhaps you'd finally be able to answer or reply to this thread?
since it's kinda relevant and all...

Re: BIO-ROMA Tournament
Had some good games yesterday, trying things out. Seems like there's a few bio things that need to be tweaked, so gonna work on that for a bit....
Potentially have some games tonight. I'm not intending this to be an every day thing, but a day here and a day there, through the rest of the month. See if people are around during the easter weekend.

Sadly, "The Tournament That Never Was" has already been used by a moderator, in his infinite wisdom, to edit another thread.
I'm afraid you'll have to buck up and play, Nara.

Re: BIO-ROMA Tournament
never did hear any follow up on the results of the bio-roma tournament.
from the looks of it, the tournament ended on april 1, and it appears that dustin won his own tournament with 3 games and 15 points, so . . .
congratulations dustin! imapickle came in 2nd with 3 games and 10 points, and spider rounded out the top three.

here is hoping somebody can push the king off the hill in the highly anticipated classic tournament!

Re: BIO-ROMA Tournament
haha, ok. this tournament did not work out. My apolodgies. After the first session it did seem like the BIO-ROMA games weren't a great setup, and people weren't into it, so it was cancelled. no winner.
