Self-healing hosts

Post by dustin » Tue Oct 25, 2016 9:07 pm

I made an update to the Europa and Titan hosts. Now if they detect themselves in a 'soft' crash (conditions: game has been going for 3 hours, human players in the game, but no clients actually there) they will send me debugging information and then restart themselves.

This will hopefully lead to a more stable set of hosts, and increase clues about what causes host crashes.

I've put the Winner picks room and a TWITCH room back up. Feel free to use them as you desire, and we'll see how this works out...

Checked in on these. There was a bug in the way I did it. It's been fixed and we'll try another iteration...

It seems like this self-healing feature has been working. To at least get hosts back up if they do crash.

Any comments on host stability lately? Have you noticed any differences?
