Hosting a game

Post by AJ » Mon Jul 28, 2003 11:42 am

The list of current gmes on the Lux tracker usually has games that you can't actually connect to (because of firewalls or whatever), so when someone starts a game with "Allow network players" turned on (most people, since it is on by default when you download), the Lux tracker should attempt to make a test connection to the host, and only list the game if the test succeeds.

I agree that this would be a good feature, and it would mostly eliminate non-reachable hosts. It should appear in the future.

For now, if you see any games with 2 or more players you know that someone has connected to that game, so you should be able to as well.
