I think its time that we have decent MOTW maps.last 2 weeks Rivers Castle and East indies. Those are not good MOTW maps and sorry to say that but I dont think Ched Nasad is gonna be a good 1 either....

Sorry Sam that not every MotW meets with your high standards. It might be an awful MotW but I hope that you @ least come out to actually play a game or two on it before you prejudge it or judge it without any experience on the map. We just played A Full house game on it @ 2 A.M. in the morning. I hope everyone enjoyed the game as much as I did. I know it's a confusing map for players, it's meant to get you lost in it's dark alleys or hidden paths. I do highly recommend READING the map desc as well. Ched Nasad is/was a drow citiy in the Underdark of Faerun
Mumps: fun map nara
█ NWA: Looking at your artwork, I do feel the need to pray to *something* for fear of being swallowed up...
█ NWA: (Not that it's bad, but instead frightening)
█ NWA: (Again, the reference to psychedelics)
Just some of the feedback that I got in chat , I know it's not everyone's cup of tea & that's fine. Noone is forced to play it. I just hope the ones that do stumble into try to enjoy it & become evil drow worshipping followers of Lloth!!! Maybe next time I'll do a map devoted to the drow god of never ending ooze!!! Anyways, Enjoy the week in the Underdark!!

I dont think I have HIGH standard as for as MOTW map like you said naraku.I like a map thats gonna give me a good challenge, settings too. There are some hard map that I like....Reapers Wrath,Caveman Wars,Cube Wars...and many other maps.

I PRSONALLY dont like much a map where im gonna lock myself for whatever reason that i cant even find every turn.East Indies was too much of a small map and Rivers castle can be fun to play in teams games like in Castle Tournment.

True I never tryed youre map naraku, but it seems to have too much death end for me to lock myself .....I said that I taught that youre map will not be a good MOTW maps because it can be REALLY difficult to play on.I never said it was an awful map like you said earlier.Im sure that the majority of players dont like much to play a map that is too difficult to play on.Ill try my best to try youre map naraku ,but I dont have much time this week and maybe make myself a better idea of what I think of the map....

Like next week map only have 28 country ....thats a bit too much small.and I dont think im the only 1 who think about that about too much small maps.....

No worries Sam ! only 5 more days of Ched Nasad MotW evilness left!

I also agree with you that to small of maps & to large of maps don't make enjoyable or fun motw games imo either. East indies wasn't the best pick for motw imo.

Seeya down in the underdark I hope!!!

I would like to suggest a re-go for the clown production "Shapes" as MOTW. I really liked that map. It doen not have great graphics but it is great fun to play!

And finally i liked the Middle East Series I - Mediterranean map - so i would like to try also the next parts of this series ...

last but not least:
is anybody here who played already Gemisys? I only read about it in the plugin-tool. Sounds interesting, but i have no idea if they play well.

super last:
As "Mark Bauer Maps" fan I would also like to try Nevada and West Virginia - never played them, but they look like i will like them!

I have enjoyed the last 2 MOTW's. A shame Nevada didn't get more play. A tricky, but very fun Map!

Thanks for keeping the MOTW fires burning!

If only we could get rid of the MOTW Bonus and people would just play new maps because of the challenge instead of the bonus....

If MOTW got a bad rap in the past because of RAW, etc, please do not let that turn you off.

This week, for instance, we have an excellent MOTW. I just wanteded to highlight that fact and encourage everyone to come play some Hot Gates.
