*First Post, please excuse the narrative!*
Hi there,
I found myself addicted to the Hasbro iPad game of "R", but was sorely disappointed at their lack of options, support or AI. I went looking for replacement, and was really happy once I found the options settings available on Lux Dlx 2. I'm thoroughly addicted, and just can't stop playing your beautiful, clever maps! Got a few co-workers hooked too :)

I'm inspired, and have some ideas for maps of my own to play with my co-workers. I see by the huge collection and the tutorials that you can make your own, but I cannot find a note on how to upload your map to an iPad for testing... Is that around somewhere? Also, has anyone ever made a video version of how to make a basic map and posted to Youtube?

Looking forward to making some maps!
Schneu

As far as I know you can't directly play home made maps on Ipad or phone. These are only released for iPad/phone by MAPLAB, after thorough reviewing.

You can only develop maps on the PC/Mac version of Lux. Submit your maps through that process, and ones that are suitable for iOS will get released on that platform as well.

Are larger maps allowed to take advantage of retina-display? And what are the best sizes?

Unfortunately, lux doesn't take advantage of retina resolutions. Should really fix that in an update.

To make a map that fits perfectly on the iphone screen with no need for zooming, size it as:
440x320 dimensions or 320x440 dimensions (vertical orientation maps).

To make a map that fits perfectly on the iPad screen with no need for zooming, size it as:
984x768 dimensions or 768x984 dimensions (vertical orientation maps).

iPhone and iPad Lux DLX maps

I would like to view a route I created using my Google Maps iPhone app. It is safer for me than using an imbedded map on the web page. Is that a feature I can use with this program?

Yes, Walter. Lux will absolutely send you via the safest route from Alaska to Kamchatka, in conjunction with Google maps or not. It will also polish your shoes if you leave them outside the door at night.

Wait... do spambots have shoes?!
