Cube Wars
CUBE WARS: 180 Countries, 30 Continents
After being inspired by Preacherman's sermon on the Lincolnesque properties of Hex maps, I've decided to create one myself. The 30 most influential posters on the sillysoft forums (i.e. spammers) each get their own cubicle. Each cube rat gets their own chair, desk, telephone, and computer. Posters that have profoundly offered words of wisdom in the forums (i.e. spammed the most) also have a few personal accessories that decorate their cubicle.

As with all of Sun's previous maps, Cube Wars rules. I LOVE the custom countries (where can I get a Nef "Playbot of the Year" poster?).
Is it still a beta version? Some of the conts (mine included) have blank country names. Should we make suggestions?
Thanks for the honor of being part of your map!

Blank country names!?! I must have uploaded a beta version by mistake...
∞ SunTzu hangs his head in shame ∞
Expect a new version within a couple of days...
If anybody has recommendations for better country names, though, just shout it out here...
Coming up with all of those relevant names was probably the hardest part of the map! I spent WAY too much time looking through old posts/wiki/member profiles.

My cubicle would DEFINITELY have a bottle of Jameson 12-year in it.

Bad news:
I installed the newest version of Cube Wars. Looks like all the country names are filled in (WOOO HOOO!), but...
1) the continent bonuses seem to all be ZERO; and
2) I found a broken connection - I got stuck in dustin's computer, and could not attack into the secret code fro SET's dice.
3) spelling errors - in mbauer, "paraphernalia"; in jonnie, "Hasselhoff".
I love this map! Please fix it?

I apparently added the names to another beta version...
The newest version has been uploaded, and I triple checked it this time... I promise!

Awesome map SunTzu, a lot of fun - very easy against the bots but looking forward to playing it against some humans...

This map is indeed very easy against the bots, although they do put up a better challange when the starting scenario is used.
FYI - this map is much more exciting and challenging when playing against 5 other humans!

I had been wondering where my thong was.
Cool map sun... just noticed it in the plugin manager. However, all the bonuses read as 0 my computer and Ian cannot see the cubical contents on his (but he can see bonuses).

Sidhe, it looks like you have version 1.1 installed & it looks like Ian has 1.0. The latest version is 1.3.

Sun, great map, I love my cube. No need to change anything in mine, but if you do another update, say to 1.4 or higher, if you like you can change Pink Floyd Album, to "Dark Side of The Moon" (that is the name of the pink floyd album)... but dont make a newer version on my account.

This is one of my 5 favourite offline maps (because you can kick multiple Reapers into kingdom come in a spare 3 minutes) but I've always been annoyed that :
a.) There's no chucks of cubicles filling up the bottom right corner, and
b.) There's no cubicles spanning the center area.
Get with the program, Sun
