I was hoping for 20, but we might have to go with 12.

Last call for players!

I think you could add a wolf stalker (like a tracker but a wolf) to the wolves actions to balance up the game.
I do like that. It might let the wolves identify some important innocent roles while providing another moving nighttime wolf player.

It would be better with more than 12. Why not wait a few more days?

Agreed. Really, I'd like to hold out for the 20 players.

if people are ok with waiting for more, that's fine with me. I just figured signups had slowed to a crawl and anyone interested will probably have checked the forums in the last few days.

waiting for one or two more can't hurt. Hwo knos, we may get some more. But, we never got more then 20 before, so we probably won't get 20 this time either.

It doesn't really seem this would be good with just 12.

In fact I may withdraw myself from playing here for a while until the SunMud / Kudenzo feud gets resolved - I'm not really interested in trying to play a game in the middle of that.

Sun already isn't in and I am bowing out. It hardly seems very controversial anyway. .

(lord almighty, your worse than enzo) and, by withdrawing from the game due to a contraversy that you are a founder of, because you do not want to be a part of said contraversy, you are a hypocrite

Maybe people don't want to have to worry about whether or not their teammates have read the rules. Maybe you need to realize that you are the problem?

maybe when the people who call me the problem(like mud) stop being hypocrites, then I can start addressing the problem. Would you want a drug addict telling you you have a drinking problem?

I wouldn’t say it is a controversy.

Simply put, I am not very keen to play with you and Enzo. I am withdrawing because Simply4est feels he needs to do so with me in the game and feeling the way that I do. You are probably a very nice chap in real life, but I am not really enjoying gaming with you, so no big loss.

It is probably a moot point given the development of this particular game.

Thanks to all the hosts.

Mud knows the rules and knows how to play the game.

Now fix your issue.

mafia rules wrote:Mafia XXV - "Werewolf Edition"

A twist on the mafia theme, this version will pit the innocent townsfolk of Luxtopia against a forest-dwelling pack of werewolves.

Rules:
-Day cycles will last a maximum of 48 hours. Days will end immediately upon a lynching.

-Night cycles will last a maximum of 24 hours or will end upon all night actions being complete.

-A lynching will occur upon a majority vote amongst remaining players. If the full day cycle expires, a plurality will decide the lynch victim. Tie votes will be decided by the first person to reach the final vote tally. The majority vote (the hammer) will be in effect - no votes after the hammer will count and prior votes can not be changed.

-Players will begin each day cycle with their vote cast against themselves. Players are free to abstain from voting.

-No talking in the thread at night! Anyone talking at night will fall in a pit in the forest.

-Those killed at night should not post in the game thread or reveal any game information.

-Roles will be revealed upon death.

-Do not quote PMs, especially any received from the game moderator.

-No editing posts! Anyone editing a post will fall in a pit.

-Due to possible double killing and/or kill-blocking roles, the game will not end until an entire side is eliminated!

-Game will start with a night cycle.
does it say what I did wrong in there? (no it does not)

Oh dear, this is just getting sad. The issue, Kude, is with the fact you asked the importance of your own role in the game thread, obviously not having read the rules/role descriptions or even the PM the lovely game host sent you, in which I am sure said the importance of your role.

So maybe still, you feel like you did nothing wrong. That’s ok. However, you can’t get upset when other players have a problem with... let’s just say... your lack of a little common sense.

The game wasn't ruined, as they have been in previous games by differnet players (including myself). The whole issue is not really much of an issue at all. But Kude, acknowledge what you did, learn from the mistake and then don't do it again.
