I did this before in another game and the person ended up being mafia. I was innocent then too and I was lynched. I went out on a limb to save mani because we have no evidence of anyone being anything and he is more likely innocent.engie wrote:Also considering Mud got the Territorial Governer to save *Manimal because he is "statistically more likely to be innocent", if Mud turns out to be guilty then we can take out *Manimal due to the the whole "guilty by association" thing. And if Mud really was innocent, then we can leave *Mani alone.
Things get moving by investigators revealing information and people coming forward with roles that can be verified. Not by killing random people that are more likely innocent. The outlaws are the ones that have a motivation in people dying during the day. Any vote is more likely being manipulated by outlaws.engie wrote:I will retract my vote on Mud before the end of the day if no one else jumps on the bandwagon... Though I'd prefer we get things moving before the corruption grows more as para pointed out.
If I am lynched and turn up innocent it wouldn't necessarily mean that engie is guilty. He could simply be "misguided"kude wrote:If he is innocent, we can grab engie. If not, Mani. Seems like a pretty sure way to hit at least one mafia, while proving that one is innocent.
Actually if we don't get all abstains from everyone we could save an afk from death by voting for someone who is not the governor and not mani. The governor can pardon them.
Since I am the only one not claiming the governor role I will vote for myself at the last minute and ask that someone else join me.

Lemme say this again: two nights with zero kills likely means there's an opium den proprietor lurking in Luxwood. If so, then neither innocents nor outlaws can piss away another day without lynching someone. If we wanna stay ahead of their wave of corruption, then we've gotta take a few chances before it's too late. I'll shake some trees tonight before bed, and hopefully I'll have good gossip to share in the morning. Likewise, if anyone wants to bend my ear, then now or never please.
Apologies for the multiple posts, things running through my mind kind of late..
Nobody else will come forward as deputy, as I am it. If a sheriff or investigative role would like to investigate me, and confide their investigative results to me, I could prove a useful link from the sheriff to everybody else.

Agreed. Unless I hear anything else before the end of the day, I'll go ahead and cast my vote with what seems to be the only consensus here... If anyone has any better information, now's the time to speak up.
Pay attention innocents. With no real information available the only ones who benefit from a lynching are the outlaws. Why else would I be advocating not to kill anyone. The only way they can kill me is by day vote or stagecoach pass which they don't have yet.
I am going to change my vote to Schroberts. I have no evidence other than what I mentioned but I am hoping that others agree with me.

Alright people. The most credible rumor shared with me last night suggests that the koala enslaving moderator from down under has been in cahoots with the local poppy traffickers. It would appear that when he hasn't been nose down in some random opium hussy's breasts, he's been rolling dice with Chinamen and luring law abiding citizens into his decadent clan. Obviously, such corruption must be snuffed out before it poisons our womenfolk, their children and Luxwood's wholesome way of life. Take a leap of faith with me this afternoon and let's watch this criminal twist from the gallows come sunrise.
