Score Update!

Post by Schroberts » Tue Apr 01, 2014 11:24 am

Sorry for the delay in posting, folks! I've been kept busy elsewhere, plus I decided I hate this sport after KU and WSU lost back to back (until next year, that is).

Final Four time!

UConn?!

(Could the NCAA possibly make the Final Four court any uglier?)

Lantern glares at para.

If only I had my pick in to schro in time. I have UCONN winning it.

Kentucky should have been given 10 points for that dunk

Final Scores!

We have a Champion!

Congratulations to our winner, the handsome Capicola!

And congratulations to our 2nd and 3rd place winners, BuyMoria and george874!

And of course, the biggest loser award must go to Lantern, who apparently would have won the whole thing by picking his beloved UCONN Huskies, had he bothered to submit his bracket on time!
(Not a single player in our bracket challenge correctly picked the Huskies to win it all. Maybe we should listen to Lantern more often?)

Thanks to everyone who participated this year! My apologies for not always being prompt with the scoring updates. Next year I will no longer be in grad school and I promise to do better! Thanks for understanding, wub you all! :smt055

Good stuff Shro! Thanks for hosting. Next year I will have cable and I will watch my teams solidify my basketball picking mediocrity. (I seem to be a very average player in almost everything I do Lux related).

GG Capi!

Stoopid Lantern. Always play.

(Although, I remember winning without winning on many a Lux Sunday past; same difference.)
