“This place ain’t what it used to be”, Paranoiarodeo muttered to no one, looking out alone from his spaceship’s glass cockpit. From his low orbit, Para could see the airbursts glow above Nunavut as Greenland’s nukes detonated. Luxtopia had slipped into war long ago. Huge swaths of land, entire countries, were now totally uninhabitable.
The Synths had been a blessing at first. They were walking piles of scrap metal that could replace humans on the battlefield. But over time, they’d become more advanced and harder to control. Para heard a rumor that they weren't even made of metal anymore. He didn't believe it until his last time in port when he’d overheard two soldiers talking about another unit that had found a Synth among the enemy’s dead. The Synth had been torn apart by a plasma rifle. What was left of it still looked human, but its blood, which ran red while it lived, had turned black and oozed like crude oil from its wrecked corpse.
Between the wastelands and the Synths, Para was done with the whole place. He’d heard the Europa colony needed more hands. He’d taken on new crew and supplies in Central America. Giving Luxtopia one last look, he powered up his engine and keyed the autopilot for a long and uneventful journey.

Roles
The Crew
All show as innocent to investigations and win with The Crew. There might be zero, one, or more of each role.
The Security Chief (Sheriff)
- Can investigate to see if a player is guilty or innocent.
- If the Bounty Hunter (Vigilante) targets him, The Bounty Hunter dies instead.
- If the Security Chief dies Night One, he becomes the Star Child, and he can talk in the thread and vote (via PM only) until his killer has also died.
- Can pick a target to watch at night. The investigation reveals any other player that their target interacts with that night, but not their role or alignment.
- If The Stowaway targets the Sneaky Synth, The Stowaway dies.
- The Ambassador’s vote counts as two.
- Can pick one target to protect at night.
- The player the Doctor protects is immune from being killed, except by the Strong Synth.
- Can attempt a kill on one target at night.
- If The Bounty Hunter targets The Security Chief, The Bounty Hunter dies instead.
- If The Bounty Hunter targets The Strong Synth, The Bounty Hunter dies instead.
- Can pick one target to block their night action.
- Can't target the same person two nights in a row.
- No special abilities.
- Can be either Loved or Hated.
- A Loved Crew Member gets an automatic -1 to their vote count whenever they have a vote counted against them.
- A Hated Crew Member get an automatic +1 to their vote count whenever they have a vote counted against them.
- The modifier stops when half the players have died.
All win with the Synths. Papa Synth shows as innocent to investigations by The Security Chief. All other Synths show as guilty. If Papa Synth dies, one of the remaining Synths becomes Papa Synth. There may be zero, one, or more of each role except Papa Synth.
Papa Synth (Godfather)
- Can send one synth each Night (including himself) to make a kill attempt.
- Shows innocent to investigations.
- Can kill a target even if the target is under the doctor's protection.
- Has a 33% chance to miss on all kill attempts.
- Immune to The Stowaway's investigation.
- Has a 33% chance to miss on all kill attempts.
- Can make kill attempts.
- No special abilities.
1. The game starts at Night. All Days and Nights are 24 hours, starting at 10pm and ending at 9:59pm the next day. All times are Eastern (GMT -5).
2. At night, PM your actions to me.
3. During the day, all players can vote to send someone to The Brig. The player(s) with the most votes against them will be imprisoned, and may not take any action at Night. If there’s a tie, multiple players will go the The Brig. Players in The Brig can’t do any actions. At dawn the following morning, one player (randomly chosen from those in The Brig) will be put out The Airlock. Any other player(s) will be returned to the game.
4. You can abstain from voting, but you have to say abstain. Players who don’t abstain and don’t vote will have a vote cast against themselves.
5. Put the name of the player you’re voting for in bold.
6. Don’t post PMs, jerks.
7. Don’t edit your posts. If you do, I will unleash some narrational fury all up on you.
