Reaper gangs up on me.

Post by Boson Higgs » Tue Dec 09, 2008 4:18 am

Lovely forum design by the way.

Am I correct in concluding that it is impossible for me to win against any more than just 1 Reaper?

I can win against just 1 Reaper easy, but the moment they gang up against me, I cannot win.

A good conservative and methodical strategy seems to win against any combination of the other default AIs, but Reaper gangs up against a human the moment there are 2 of it, and there is nothing I can do to win.

Am I correct?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

You can type "reaper alone" in chatline, thatl set the reapers not to team.

Impossible is nothing, except 5 reapers at the same time.
best map to beat more than one reaper is bio extreme.

i like to leave them teamed, since it simulates asshats in the game

I used to play castle infinity offline against 2 reapers, 2 evil pixies, and 1 quo, and I could win most of those games.

I tried playing against 3 reapers for a while but it usually just pissed me off. 8) The only way I found I could beat 3 reapers was to get a lucky placement and aggressively take one out in the first few rounds.

It might be possible to beat 3 or more if you manually placed countries and armies. That might be worth a try.

5 Reapers is STILL possible but I've only been able to do it on Bio Extreme if a map with choke points forms

To get the chat area to show up, turn on the "Allow other players to join" checkbox.

Crawford told me last year that if u play bio alone, with 5 reapers and with a 15 second timer for a week it will really improve your game.

I can beat five reapers on classic and classic part trois.

Don't leave out Botofdoom.

And on high income maps, killbot can be dangerous.

New user, delighted to meet the Reaper

Post by benhunt » Wed Nov 02, 2011 9:04 am

I've been playing on my iPhone for at least a year, and have just signed up for the online desktop version.

I was getting frustrated that the Hard AI wasn't hard enough, and was delighted to find the Reaper AI in the latest iOS update.

I've managed to win against 2 Reapers and 3x Hard AI on my favourite level: "Castle Lux Nano". Next I'll try 3 :-)

I'd try bumping of the difficulty a little bit by replacing the "Hard" with Yakool(s) and Evilpixie(s). I do (in Reaper:Yakool:Evilpixie) 2:2:1. But of course, it's totally up to you, and experimenting is always cool.
