Bot source (such as for reaper 6.0)

Post by bushybonbon » Mon Nov 09, 2009 10:52 am

I see the source to some of the bots in the lux ai sdk, but not for the reaper bot - so is it available?

Thanks!

Reaper bot was written by Bertrand, and he hasn't published the source code. You could contact him about it if you want, here's his forum profile:

A guy who played 7 games was dedicated enough to create the best AI on Lux? meh

Sorry guys, but no source code will be available, probably for ever. I might sell it someday, who knows. If it becomes public, then it's worth nothing.

It's worse than that: I played zero games online, that was an impersonator.

Who says you have to play online to be dedicated? I had fun playing offline, and I enjoy programming more than playing.

Yeah Claudiu, and the guy who made your favorite map has around 1000 online games. Not everyone's a raw whore or has the patience to deal with board flipping children (not that you are either).
