I don't see a problem with 3 - how about we each play everyone with the same record? Chances are good that one of us will end up 5-0.
Just for future reference, it's ALWAYS a good idea to decide how a tourney will work BEFORE it starts - otherwise people vote for whichever way benefits their position the most. Let's settle on how a winner will be crowned NOW, or else we'll surely be arguing later. What will happen if two or more players are tied after next round? |

Right now we were only doing one game per person, and for the same reasons aqua said, I think that YOU need to decide now, without vote, how the rest is going to work out. |

Agreed, don't ask for an opinion because you'll get 8 different views on how to go from here. Take the facts; depending on your last game, plus the finish between me and Goten, you'll have 8 to 9 people left. I think the fairest way would be to make sure that it's a slight easier for the guys who went 2-0.
But like Aqua and Mani said, finish a format, tell us what it is, and we'll play it out.
Then everyone can complain when I'm hoisting the gold chess gif high up above my rankings page... (MWHM dusts off a place on the shelf) |

look out, Won...trying to organize a tournament game around here is akin to hand-feeding raw meat to a pack of piranha...while they're definitely interested in what you have to offer, you're bound to get chewed up pretty bad in the end...

He indeed has it right. There will only be one winner, and these two games are the only ones left. And since I only eliminated 4 this round, I think we're going to have another round of 4 person elimination (meaning 3 games each). |
