wish we'd been able to play at the reg time... I'd been waiting all week for a few good games... Missed playing w/ ya'll .. one game wasn't nuf..
congrats to the winners of the semis.
maybe see ya'll next yr...

just to settle some debate among some friends that were tuned in... can anyone tell me why a non-castle map was the last game? NUKES? huh?

Jal had played a game today which by rules he shouldnt have played. Because of him being DQ. I did not even think twice about this because I forgot he didnt even had 5 games in until I was doing the calculations for the teams. However I have no choice but to allow Jals placing count but He is still considered DQ and will be sure not to play in the finals and all the rules of the tournament still apply to DQ players.
My apologies for not catching this sooner |

Although the map didnt actually have images of castles, The forts where basically viewed as your castles. This map was played in the regular season which is why I played it again tonight, being a debut Map that I agreed with Mbauer prior to the tournament to get it out in the public's view. If you have a vivid imagination as I do you would view it has after a nuclear fallout everything is destroyed so rebuilding must occur but all in all thats why that map. |

Why no choice? If it's an issue... why not reset and try again next Wednesday at 8pm est? I seriously doubt anyone would object to playing more games w/ their fellow luxers.... If it's an issue, and you want to try to fix it, feel free.. Let's get it all taken care of and Kill Kill Kill™.

THE PRIZE GIVEAWAYS
Each member of the winning team will be recognized by Lux with a castle tournament medal on their rankings page and recieve an Apple IPod Nano digital player compliments of Snype Entertainment Inc. The Grand Prize has been revamped to benefit the saying "play as a team, win as a team" with that said No Grand Prize will be rewared to an MVP but the whole team instead. Winning team memebers must successfully completed all tournament Requirements to claim winnings.

Not to be nitpicky, but in defense of some people who got DQed, the rules said the tourney was all month long. There were no playoffs in the original format, it got changed midstream. Our teammate thought she was getting her 5th game in tonight. There was a change, it wasn't communicated.
No harm, but I don't think any of the DQ people were at fault either. |

Once again my apologies for not being able to make it tonight, I missed three epic battles. Thanks fellow BANE members for making it happen, you guys kick ass. I would also like to say nice work to everyone, great games and good times all around. This tourney has been a blast!! It is a real privilege to be able to play with all of you, some of which I have never played before. | I am here very sparatically, I am not allowed to read anything and supposed to stay in bed at a 45 degree angle which i have tried to do, tazzy and chronic hobo have been taking care of my travian life, they are awsome! and tazz has yelled at me bless her heart when she has caught me online. Friday i am going to have surgery on my right eye and the optometrist promised me it's going to be ok, if i don't have the surgery i would lose it.Any one wondering a plastic hanger hit a ceiling fan and broke it ,i caught a shard of it in the eye friday afternoon. My retna has detached itself from my eye... my sight right now looks like a movie projector . I feel like a bitch for giving snyper so much shit in the forum because.... i didnt read the rules and this tourny has been the most fun i have had in lux in a long time. You rock snyper !!! Team Bane this is now just like a 80's movie! Win it for me guys. I welcome the new bane members with open arms, I love you guys. I am at home right now and my friends are here everyday, And I will go into norfolk sentara friday morning knowing my friends are on the battefield fighting the good fight! Good luck guys! win or lose we can hold are heads high, and i promise when im better ill spend more time here and less time in travian. |
