Dear Handsome Mark--

Question: If a MOTW gets the BIO treatment, does it still count as MOTW? For example, I'm quite fond of USA War Zone, but this can play a bit long (cough*Whirly*cough) which makes folks shy away from it. But if you put it on, say Level 4 Bio... much faster (or fiendish, or whichever word you choose). Some players might find that attractive... :smt077

Devotedly,

TSK

TSK...

I will play with you on any map any time that you want to game. I LOVE USA WARZONE and will happily play it in standard or bio 1-4.

Also, even if I don't get lucky enough to play, just being in your mere presence is victory for me.

Hi TSK'arling!

great idea! I would like it!

Actually the Biohazard Mode seems to count - On Mentors trackingpage (http://lux.dc6iq.de/node/30670) and also on the offical Sillysoft MOTW tracking page (http://sillysoft.net/lux/rankings/motw/). I just hosted a actual MOTW game on the Booze map with (middle) bio option (game #1229558). On the tracker the host was listeted bold like usually the MOTW map and the game counted to the MOTW tally points!

I will host some MOTW with Bio option in future and lets see if people also will like it! I DID SO! Booze is also a nice map with light/middle Bio option.

SO YES - I FULLY AGREE: BIO would really be an interesting option on some MOTW-maps.

AND YES to Mark Bauers question: i am against too much classic maps in MOTW in general too, but now the time might have come to change the strictly no: why not take the new classic wide screen map as MOTW? (easter eggs was also some kind of a classic-similar map). As MOTW and Classic are both nearly dead at the moment, this might be the chance to get some FH games on a classic MOTW at least for one week.

I think that both Classic and Classic wide screen should be in the MOTW maps for the weeks too come, but to have a couple of weeks between them. And yes I think that the Biohazard mode can be a good try for the MOTW,but personally I think we got enough BIO on our hands.

You know, when you start breaking rules like repeating maps (Booze)
you might as well break the rest.

actually, repeating maps rule has been revoked, but only after a certain time. So, the motw we did last year may come back soon.

I encourage people to turn on BIOHAZARD for MOTWs that it seems appropriate for. Try it out!

I like the maps too...Its a shame that we cant get FH games when the maps like this week maps was very popular the first time...I think I almost all played those maps as MOTW and enjoyed a lots of them.Ive done my times as playing MOTW with bots ,with the little time I get to play now I enjoy to try to play them always as FH witch is rare in MOTW,but if theres some and I can play ill be there.

Oct 31st has been replaced with Shrooms, since it was originally a luxtober map. :)

And it's getting pretty confusing for me to keep track of which maps have repeated and which maps are old enough, so from now on any map can be repeated provided it hasn't been MOTW in at least several months and was popular when it was MOTW.

DC Politics is a great map, but it didn't generate a large audience during it's run.

Three Kingdoms has been fit into the schedule since it was never MOTW

1 small request Mb, would you mind flipping the order of the schedule a smidge? I would like to request river castles be bumped up a few weeks to fit sometime in January if you don't mind.

Thanks
