Re: MARCH — The Last Ninja 2012
OK... I feel kinda silly, but I had forgotten it was best out of three this year, since it's been just one in the past (right?), and when luizze90 and I played our games, we were under the impression that only the first one counted (which luiz won), but then we played two more "for fun," both of which I won. So, I guess I technically won 2 out of 3, but I feel like it was under false pretenses, especially for luiz. I'm sorry Luizze. Don't know if there's anything to be done here, but now I feel a little guiltymentor09 wrote: We will play only best out of three two human player unranked games

We could, but it's not week #3. I'd do it if there's a problem to wait until sunday.Big Will E Style wrote:Mentor, can you play tonight or tomorrow night?? I am on pacific time.
right. The Automatic procedure is still in week #2. If i played BWE now, it would be a training game.mazza wrote:i thought we had to wait another week now.....when i last logged into to Shogun room, it told me i was required in week 3.....
which poses the question;
do we have to wait until all the games are completed in this round, before we can progress to the next round of games??
no - our game was the first game in week#2n00less cluebie wrote:Considering the fact that I played mentor in our "round 2" game during week 1, I'm guessing that's a "no"
Remeber I let you wait 10 Minutes
I am on CEST. Just tell me about you preferences...Big Will E Style wrote:Mentor, can you play tonight or tomorrow night?? I am on pacific time.
You have to wait - the current round is indicated by the dark squares on the grid.mazza wrote:i thought we had to wait another week now.....when i last logged into to Shogun room, it told me i was required in week 3.....

You can play - but it won't count, if I would not modify the current round for a short time. If you can't play next week, I am ok with it, but generally you should wait.Big Will E Style wrote:I'm pretty sure you can play every round early as long as you have an opponent.
@schroberts: Nice trick ey Since luizze is ok with it - i guess we can keep it at that outcome. Evil ninjas, hehe... /me marks luizze a point for the best sportsman award...

Mumps defeated Engie 2-0.
Game (#1323109) finished March 6th 2012 11:34 PM using map Shogun hosted by TheLastNinja. The game lasted for 2 minutes. The starting position was taken from the map's scenario. Cards were set at 4, 6, 8... transfer cards on conquer was ON, immediate cash was ON. Continent bonuses went up by 10% each round. The turn timer was set to 30s.
Name Position Rounds Lasted Raw Change New Raw Value
Mumps 1 7 0 911
Empty 2 0 0 487
Engie 3 7 0 991
WhirlPlaid, when I was assigned to play with you, I said to myself:WhirlPlaid wrote:Meron good game bro.
I never had a fighting chance. I hope you take it all the way.
Good Luck.
"There goes my tournament, I'm gonna lose it in the first round"
But you had bad dice and I had good dice.
The two games we played were like tossing coins twice, that's all.
If I'll get any sword, I'll dedicate it to you my friend

Congratulations to everyone who's made it this far!
mentor, could you clarify what the procedure is if a match isn't played for whatever reason? Where and when does the "available" player claim the win? Do they need to come to the Shogun room at 6 pm EST on Sunday, or do you accept a PM then or at some other time?
I ask because the US will go on Daylight Savings Time this weekend, and I wouldn't want anyone to miss out because of confusion about the time.
Thanks again for the tournament... very fun so far!

As the rule clearly says: You *must* come to the Shogun room (required because your opponent may show up as well). Be there for 10 Minutes. I will *not* accept any PM nor chat in other rooms. See the following link: http://www.time.org/ and have a Look at London (GMT).The Silken Knot wrote:Congratulations to everyone who's made it this far!

Round 2 ends March, 11th 2012 22:59 GMT, so be in the room then. Again: *NO Exception to the rule*. It's up to the players to play their games in time - whatever problems they have, they need to show up in the Ninja room at the end of the round if they want to claim the win.
