Wow ,,, I just scrolled through this thread ,,,, an now feel real bad for winning in my third reincarnation of luxlife in this tourney . First, I apologize for not following the results , as once I died the second time , I stopped , an this had mazza looking for me until I just happened to stop at my office to check mail ..........n at the last moment , a half hour until he could of claimed victory !!!!! Then the dice gods went my way ,,,,, n *POOF* ,,,,, mazza 's out . I really just got notified immediately before we played that I was reborn !!!! If I read the thread ,,, I would have aquiesed to Gfips or whoever to play in my stead !! I just feel bad now , n leave it to u guys to decide what is appropriate. I will forfeit the next match if u would like , or better yet, let mazza claim our last match ,, as he really killed me first anyway !!!! This tourney is really fun ,, n I would not want to be the one to give it a "black eye" !!!!!!!!! Well ,,, guys ,,, I gonna be playin in the Chase today ,,, n I'm sure ill hear your comments !!!!!! Good Luck to whomever the participants are !!!!

That's very honorable of you, george, to be willing to give up your seat like that.

I would like to mention that in my rant about the revival system, I was targeting the revival system itself, in no way was I angry at you. I understand how you feel now as well. You never asked to be given all these chances..... and now you have been given them, which makes you uncomfortable since so many ninja (including myself) have ranted and raved about the very system that took you to the semi-finals. In any case, I think it is a topic that you and Mazza should be able to talk over and be able to come to a logical solution.

(Let's just hope that George doesn't have 9 lives like a cat, otherwise we're all done for.) Smile

Hi,

I'd like to state how ridiculous it is that I have been disqualified without playing from the final. I have won every game I have played so far. You took to no consideration at all that I live in a different time-zone. I was even not aware that I had to play during the weekend because Mentor's message system was messed up and wasn't giving me a message. I am one of the few players that have played all their games and still you gave the game 3-0 to Rhye. Thanks for everything. I wasted my time playing in your tournament in which I still haven't lost.

Hello Mentor,

I understand your arguments well. I don't want to comment on the "creating a negative environment" comment above which I think is exaggerated. The truth is that I am new to lux and was not aware of the fix date. After playing Samuel on Saturday I thought I was done for a while. Ironically, even if I knew it, it would have been impossible for me to play last night because my connection was getting cut-off repeatedly. Even if I did sign back a 3rd time it is most likely I would have been disconnected. Apparently they are doing some work in the network and this happens late at night here.

11pm GTM is for me 2.00 am. I think that everyone understands that such times are difficult for me to attend. However I will try to do so since I know it, in the risk of getting seriously verbally abused by my girlfriend. I hope Rye can agree to this. I don't understand why you thought I would forfeit a game. Why on earth would I forfeit a game? lol It's not like I'm risking something. This tournament IS fun and I'd like to thank you mentor for organizing it. I was just annoyed at the combination of coincidences that lead to you giving the game away to Rye after I've been part of this tournament for weeks. Also, I repeat that I have played every single one of the games. About what you said for the forums, I don't really spend time in the forums. I only check my inbox when I see a message in my email and last night I didn't check my email.

To summarize: I apologize for signing in and out of the room last night. My internet connection was going ON / OFF. I would have informed you about it if I actually knew that I was about to play. Very disappointing turn of events. Seems bad luck can manifest itself in more ways than the dice in this game.

This tournament has been full of unexpected twists and turns so far, whether it be george's repeated revival or an unexpected date change for the finals and semi-finals, not to mention your connection problems. And looking back on the day, it is clear by both the chat log and your posts here that the only reasons that you didn't play were technical (or at the very least out of your control.) The fact that you even tried to show up (twice) shows that you were dedicated to the Shogun tournament. Reluctant as I am to give up a free win, I think we should make-up that semi-final match. Judging from your time zone, I think it would be best for you to play our game a half hour early. 22:30 GMT on the day of the finals [this upcoming Saturday] would be fine for me.

Err.... slight complication with times for me. I probably won't be able to meet at the original time, seeing as I'll be in the air then. For me, it'd be much easier 24-26 hours earlier than the original meeting time. I may be able to do it afterward, but I don't like relying on a hotel's internet service......

George and SMB neither read their inbox, nor this thread. So we cannot play the saturdays games on friday. Therefore i say:

We can play only semi finals this week end (eventually). SMB and Rhye can organize themselves - but shall announce it here before. I suggest playing on sunday, eventually a bit earlier then, please announce it in this thread.

The finals will happen Easter Saturday then, 23:00 GMT. If the semi final is not played until then, I declare Rhye as winner again (since he already claimed the win at the right time). SMB, I really urge you to read this thread regularily, not only at week ends (Same to George874).

PS: Now you all see why there are fixed times in the early rounds to claim a win and why there are fixed times in the tournament rules. A tournament will never end if any one can say not this day and the other says not that time...
