Classic probably won't have a revival, but fuck, nobody wants to play even one game with you in it, because of shit like you pulled in the game you're referring to. Forget place, you played to screw me over and nothing else. I have no idea why, maybe you enjoy the reaction you're getting now.
I didn't tell para to ban you, I can't speak for it but he probably did it because literally everyone in the room wanted it, and nobody was going to continue playing if you were around.
These discussions with you in them are old, Baden, and I usually don't participate but I'll throw in my one post since you decided to quote me as part of some sort of problem. The only problem is your playstyle. | "Replay"? A simple fact is that you started a bold attack in oz. Wiped me out there with a lucky dice. The border was weakly fortified. I hit back with the armies I gathered in China and took oz. Of course not with a blind one-click attack. What was wrong about that, you pussy?
If you can't bear a risk you should play another setup or game. |

Who picks a fight here? You just twist the facts.
You claim for an "instant replay" of the game. And now you don't care about the game?
Now you try to tell the story:
WE (100%) are always right.
NOBODY (100%) likes Baden.
If that is true you and your charming friend "dolla" should take it easy. |

And o another note entirely, I have played my first game with other players in about 10 months (maybe a year. I lost track) and it was in CLASSIC! How's about that?
For those of you old enough to remember me I made my fortune by being a completely average player in Classicdeux. Once people stopped playing that my game of choice became KillerCatfish's 50% cont. increase BioDeux room. The games were fast and rather silly. Sometimes he added twitch to the 50% cont increase and the games were even sillier.
So I entered the Classic room because so many of the people I like were there. They needed one more for a full house. I reminded people that I play Classic worse than a bot, but they wanted me to play anyway. I lost even though I basically started with EU. It was great fun. I could now return you to your argument in progress but is that what you really want?

There's a reason I stopped responding other than one 2-liner.

I do remember some "fights" between the classic and the bio guys. If you were a bio player (like I assume I am) and you tried to play classic you probably, I said probably, would get smashed buy the classic experts (I don't mean they would team but it was a tense atmosphere ...).
I guess I'm here playing since 2006, you can guess from my player ID, and I always notice that no matter what you will do there always be the first class players and the others ... I'm, obviously, in the others category.
Not intended to put more wood on the fire, but there are things hard to forget ... but easly forgiven (if there is something to forgive).
Sorry about the bad english cause I didn't have time to check it in the google translator. |

All you did there was crying and whining. Together with "dolla" you teamed up verbally vs. me. So stop this comedy.
If you are not able to lose a battle sportsmanlike you should not promote "Classic".
So far I did not hear an argument concerning the game.
Fact is that I got 2nd place while you are just angry that your plan did not work.
"Hopeless" you are if you get so excited. It was a rather normal game. |

Stating you came in 2nd is not a sterling endorsement towards any strategic play. . . .
I wouldn't go as far to make generalizations like "Nobody likes you" or whatnot, but I would observe that playing games with you is somewhat frustrating in that you are
1) An intelligent, and seemingly rational person
2) A veteran of Lux who has been here for years
combined with
3) A non-changing sub-par game-playing strategy that leads to a mediocre Full-House Win Percentage (17.38%) that more often than not, not only doesn't ensure yourself of a win, but often ruins the chances of anyone else who happens to start off with armies near South America or OZ.
It's your apparent stubbornness against adjusting your game-playing style that rubs many veterans the wrong way. It's one thing if you were a simple idiot newbie who didn't know how to play, but it is your insistence on continuing to play with a sub-par strategy that has become so identifiable with your person (Hell, 9/10 Luxxers probably know what it means to "Badenize" OZ), and your further insistence that your strategy is actually effective that upsets certain Luxxers, and even incites some of our less than emotionally stable players to end up targetting you in future games (A la Naraku)
But then again, I'm just a clown, so what do I know?

"Ricou" actually seeded 4th has this FH Percentage: 16.55%
Did you ever make a weekly 1st medal? I see 3rd as best result.
I have a weekly 1st and run to the Forum and tell that you are "mediocre"?
Come on! That is stupid and kills the game. Bio rots the brain obviously.

Please consider this:
I keep out of the usual rally since years now. No idea what you are doing in MOTW, Bio or other events.
Did I ever molest you while you were running for the medals lately?
Now I play "Classic" once while the week just started and we all had not much raw yet.
And you scandalize it?
This behavior kills Lux.
Just meet other players. Play some games and accept a defeat sportsmanlike. And stay humble if you won. |

 | My data base is not as good.
But I need only this:
http://sillysoft.net/lux/rankings/versus.php?player1=paranoiarodeo&player2=Shopi
"Shopi" was the undisputed master of 5,5,5 "Classic" for years.
You had many occasions to meet him on his playground.
You refused and post some silly stats now.
If we talk about a revival for "Classic" this early 5,5,5 scenario is important.
Perhaps I am a fossile since I had many hard fights with "Shopi" in his room. Sparks fly we witnessed in any game.
Did anyone complain?
NO!
You simply will lose any 5,5,5 if you don't attack in time a continent bonus. It is funny. Same rule fits to my 5,10,15 with a 50% bonus.
You have to be rude in order to win or survive.
You, Para entered the scene and changed that with your 4,6,8,10,15 setup.
It was clever. I got and get blamed to go for OZ 1st. In the 5,5,5 scenario the clue for a win.
You preferred EU tried to take it early and throwed a tantrum if someone did hit your weakly fortified border.
Even worse. You just banned / booted me and other players as host if they dared to attack your weak border.
I witnessed that many times.
I am hosting as well since years. I never booted players ad - lib like you did and do.
If I booted a player I had other reasons: Homophoby, racial slurs etc.
But your focus is raw obviously not culture. |

Good. I would hate to tell a long rambling pointless Llama story to derail this thread. I was about 87% ready to do so weather or not there was a full audience. But now I am Only 37% likely to write a pointless and rambling story to derail this thread. They say that if you do not have something nice to say not to say it at all. But what if you just have nothing to say?
