honourable : oxford english diactionary - the recognised bible of our ENGLISH LANGUAGE
• adjective 1 bringing or worthy of honour. 2 (Honourable) a title given to certain high officials, members of the nobility, and MPs.
Just because you silly north american folks can't spell doesn't mean that you should be allowed to dumb down our beautiful language - the word is honour kids

If you are going to critique spelling, I would suggest proofreading your own post first.

Re: Luxtoberfest II Vote Winners
wow.....let me say in the 2yrs that I have been reading these forums I can honestly say that neither spelling mistakes or human error is solely left to the North Americans. I will leave the word silly for those who feel the need to classify an entire country as anything.smedz wrote: Just because you silly north american folks can't spell doesn't mean that you should be allowed to dumb down our beautiful language - the word is honour kids

As an aside, those frogs to whom refer, they'll be the ones who give us great wine, magnificent cheese, fabulous public transport infrastuctures, powerful unions and Vanessa Paradis.xrayspex wrote:English huh? All those extra "u"s are from the frogs and you know it. Stick to American English, it's purer.

ww2 - Hmm that was the war when america sat watching tv whilst the uk was being bombed within an inch of existence. Choosing only to come in after our greatest hour of need. Did you know that 70% of germans killed in world war 2 died at the hands of the russians ?

I have nothing against those frogs, hell, I even lived in Paris for a while. Love their contributions to the world. But spelling is not their greatest accomplishment. All the same, if they want to write with extra u's I don't care, just pass me another Bordeaux please.smedz wrote:As an aside, those frogs to whom refer, they'll be the ones who give us great wine, magnificent cheese, fabulous public transport infrastuctures, powerful unions and Vanessa Paradis.
Congratulations everyone! I'm sorry I missed it this year, I was out of town. Looks like I missed a grand ol' time.
Thank you so much for giving me the honour (that's right, it's spelled with a u) of winning best map 2 years in a row, it gives me great pleasure that you all like my maps so much.

Dammit MB as I've told you a thousand times, me looking at a finished map and declaring it to be "balanced" doesn't make me co-author!! Kudos where kudos are due my friend - the map is awesome, and it's yours!mbauer wrote:I just realized something....The Castle 2 map was made by both Preacherman and myself and he hasn't gotten any of the credit. I'm very embarassed that I didn't catch this earlier. So could we please give Preach the recognition he deserves for his role in the making of this map
