| Is there a way to control the border thickness in the code of the map? |

| No, this is set by the user in their preferences. But you can fudge some things by putting a border into the background theme. |

Ok, then how does the color selector in Photoshop correspond to the
<color>0.0/0.0/0.0</color> format in BBedit. In other words how to I get the exact same color from a file in Photoshop to the 0/0/0 format?

| Also can an image be on top of the countries? If not, what exactly does the foreground in the theme do? |

A Lux <color>0.0/0.0/0.0</color> value corresponds to the RGB value in Photoshop. So that would be black. <color>1.0/0.0/0.0</color> would be red, etc.
No, you cannot place an image over the countries. Nobody has any idea what the foreground.jpg image actually does. |

I already figured that out, I wasn't clear with my original question
What I meant is if I wanted to match a color from the theme exactly how do I found out what the numbers to fill in to the
"0.0/0.0/0.0" format are. I assume I would use the "color picker" from Photoshop, but it does not have any of the numbers in the "0.0/0.0/0.0" format.
Is the best way to just plug in numbers till I get it as close as possible?

Oh, sorry I misunderstood you...no, all colours you select with the eyedropper are always available. Once you have selected the colour, it will become the foreground colour on the two large squares towards the bottom of the toolbar. Click on it there, and Colour Picker window will pop up, from there you can see the RGB values. These are given in a range from 0 - 255 rather than 0.0 - 1.0, so you'll need to divide each by 255 to get the correspondig Lux value, for example:
255/255 = 1.0
51/255 = 0.2
etc..

So Dustin, Is it possible for you to give us the control of the borders width in the code? Also what does the "foreground.jpg" do? Even the preach doesn't know!

The foreground image replaces the texture underneath the countries with an image of your choice.
Perhaps border width control would have been better as a map-defined property, however for now it shall remain a user-defined one. |

So can you control the "opacity" of the countries, in order to reveal more of the foreground?
