October 6th-7th is the 2007 Map Retrospective!!

All Weekend Long

The 2007 Map Retrospective will consist of some online rooms hosting games on maps released in 2007. Come out and play some of the great maps that have been released this year!

Rooms will be open all weekend, so you can show up whenever and play. Games with 5 or more humans will count in the scoring.

Scoring is as follows (for each game with 5+ humans):
8 points for 1st place
5 points for 2nd place
4 points for 3rd place
3 points for 4th place
2 points for 5th place
1 point for 6th place

Each person's score will be calculated as (total points / games) with a minimum of 5 games required. If there is a tie then a tie-breaker match will be played to declare the winner.

Would like to think that someone had played my map, Organ grinder, but I guess it might not be good enough to make this tournament.

Since this will be during week ends can you please make sure the rooms are unranked for those who are aiming for weekly medals?

Since we have so many awesome maps, and this tourny is going on all weekend, I upped the minimum number of games required to get a score to be 5.

So you need to play 5 games anytime during the weekend. We're playing now, so come join...

the rules were changed mid tournament and that isnt fair for those of us who had to plan to be able to make the tournament at all.

damn it… i had to get on a bus (which only comes every hour and 15 minutes) to go to a nearby city to play. i played my three games and some deux games and got some cd's and i was on my way back to school… (where the return bus also comes every hour and 15 minutes)

is there any chance my current average could be considered? i mean… if i had known that i had to play 5 games, i certainly would have played two more. i cant travel back and forth again to play 2 games!
