|
|
Saturday 13th - Sunday 14th, TeamPlay Lux Tournament
Time: for large stretches of Saturday and Sunday
This tournament will consist of 1 or more rooms playing TeamPlay games. If you've never played a Team Lux game, look at the TeamPlay page in the wiki.
Scoring is as follows (for each game):
4 points for 1st place team
2 points for 2nd place team
1 points for 3rd place team
Each team will have to play at least 5 games minimum to get a score, which will be the (points/games) average.

hi Dustin
Do we have to be in one of the specified teams? or can we create a new one or is this just going to be random teams? |

in view of the recriminations and accusations from last year, could we have some clear ground rules (for example, which teams will play if there are too many waiting, can we select our team players for each game etc. etc?)

| If anybody with experience using the team host wants to help out hosting this weekend it would be much appreciated. Especially on Saturday, I may not be around that much. Please PM me. |

| Actually, I've now got a Teams autoplay host up-and-running. It will automagically setup team games from the players that are there. Might still be a kink or two, but we'll work it out. Team games should be running all day today and tomorrow. |

Also, for people new to TeamPlay: You can tell the teams by looking at the colors of the players.
3v3 games will have 3 blue players vs 3 black/grey/white players
2v2v2 games will have 2 blacks vs 2 blues vs 2 greens |

So dustin, pardon my ignorance. On the team page right now it shows AND with 172 points and an average of 2.39. Their average of 2.39 is only 4th highest yet they are listed in first position on the page. Are they in first or 4th? Thanks. |

Yeah, I understand that Cuarto. Why then is the team listed in first position? It's not clear IMHO so I asked the man. |

Está bien. (No, I did not curse you or make fun of you )
It's probably just programmed for wins because outside of Luxtober the wins are what matters.

| It's just ordered by points for ease of programming. The average is what really matters. |

TeamPlay weekend is over and The Raw Whores are victorious!!
Runner-ups were Ten Monkeys of the ApocaLux and Seduction.
The full standings:
In retrospect, 50 games played would have been a better minimum for the 2-day event I think. We'll know for next time. |

| I didn't think that I was going to play in this tourney, but got pressed in at the spur of the moment by Trinkett. I ended up playing games with Trink, KillerCatfish, and Hoodie - and it was REALLY fun! Glad I could help bring the 10 Monkeys to glory. Congrats to the Raw Whores! Can't wait till next year. |

| The point system is a lot more fair than an average system for a weekend long event. |
