|
|
Wednesday October 1st, Tournament of Champions for High Seeds!!
12 AM GMT time / 8 PM Eastern time / 5 PM Pacific
This TOC will consist of 4 consecutive games played by the 6 highest seeded players (as of the above time) who turn up. There will be 4 rooms (running brackets A, B, C, D), so a total of 24 people will be able to play. If you are top 30 seed you should definitely show up, and there will probably be room for some 31-50+ seeds also. Players can use either their normal seed or long-term seed to enter.
Show up on time to play. The A bracket will start exactly at the appointed hour, and the B and C rooms will start very shortly after.
The maps played will be Classic, Roman Empire II, and 2008 MOTWs.
Scoring is as follows (for each game):
8 points for 1st place
5 points for 2nd place
4 points for 3rd place
3 points for 4th place
2 points for 5th place
1 point for 6th place
The player with the most points in each room will be declared the winner of their TOC.

This will be grrrrreat. Clowns will rock.
But about the maps - does Classic Risk means Classic Risk? A bit strange if bio is not included since it's the most played map (40% vs Roman at 25% and so on)?
Anyway, it's gonna be fun. |

Bio isn't really a map. It can be applyed to any map, it just happens to be applyed to classic part duex the most. |

That's exactly what the Top All-Time Seeds tournament on October 25th is for. |

Rex asks a good question. Are there going to be two rooms of classic, one of MOTW's, and one of Rome?
And, can we switch rooms, or do we have to stay in the same room the whole time? |

| I think the order for maps is set, and the same for each room. So A will play classic, rome, bio, MOTW choice, whatever, and B will play the same maps in the same order. Or so I think. |

| Wontrob is correct. If you get in the games in a tournament room, don't change rooms. |

This tournament starts in 1 hour.
You need to show up at the starting time or shortly afterwards to be able to compete in this tourny. |

congrats to Manimal and Big Will for their victories.....
BUT especially i would like to congratulate my BANE brother, JAL, for his victory.........they all said us BANE boys would amount to nothing JAL, but u showed them brother......WELL DONE............
i would also like to know if Utan and myself, who tied for 3rd in that room,B, will both receive a "bronze medal" for our efforts....... if it was the Olympics, we would, but dont know how Dustin does things.... The same applies to Rex and Marauder in room A
A lil friendly advice...... give one to all of us - pretty please......
