|
|
Saturday October 25th, Top All-Time Seeds Tournament
Time: 1 PM Pacific / 4 PM Eastern / 9 PM UK / 10 PM Europe
This TOC will consist of 4 consecutive games played by the 6 highest all-time seeded players who turn up. There will be 3 rooms (running brackets A, B, C), so a total of 18 people will be able to play.
To clarify, this is based on the highest you have ever been seeded in your Lux career. Your ranking page will have a "(high of Xth)" beside your seed (unless you're at the highest you've ever been right now), and this lifetime high seed is what is used to enter the tournament. If you have ever been seeded in the top 10 then you should show up and you should be able to play.
Show up on time to play. The A bracket will start exactly at the appointed hour, and the B and C rooms will start shortly after.
The maps played will be Classic, Classic Part Deux, Roman Empire II and Castle Lux MP.
Scoring is as follows (for each game):
8 points for 1st place
5 points for 2nd place
4 points for 3rd place
3 points for 4th place
2 points for 5th place
1 point for 6th place
The player with the most points in each room will be declared the winner of their TOC.

If it's like years past, it will be based on who shows up. The top six highest all-time seeded players who show up will be group A, the next 6 best seeds will be group B, and so on. |

ok please clarify this because I dont wanna join the wrong thing.....
Is a bracket gonna start with classic and rotate through each map? or will there be a classic bracket, then a rome bracket, then a bio bracket etc. ( like a separate tourney for each map).
If my understanding is correct.....
each bracket will start with 6 highest ranked available players, and those same players play one game on each of the 4 maps using the point system to determine the winner.
In the end, there will be 3 champions, one for each bracket.
Do I have that right?
Im also assuming that there will be no substitutions allowed in a bracket once the tourney starts, and also each player can participate in only one bracket........

Yes, you are correct grim.
The winner of each bracket is the winner. Winner or bracket A gets top honors, but the others are champions also. |
