October 6th is the Biohazard Tournament

All Day Long

The Biohazard Tournament will mean that only maps using Biohazard mode can be played online during Tuesday.

You can play the tournament on Classic BIO or Roman Empire II BIO or BioDeux or any other BIO mode map. The BIO setting can be anything from light to apocalypse.

Scoring is as follows (for each game):
8 points for 1st place
5 points for 2nd place
4 points for 3rd place
3 points for 4th place
2 points for 5th place
1 point for 6th place

Each person's score will be calculated as (total points / games) + (games * 0.1) with a minimum of 3 games required, and a maximum of 20 games adding extra.

Only games with 6 humans in it count towards your score.

What about the Classic BIO-1 ?

All maps are compatible with BIO mode. Turn on BIO mode and use any map you want.

Classic - BIO 1 is included, as it uses the BIO mode.

I figured, but I was just wondering since right now its only able to be hosted by sillysoft

(at least i think that's the case)

Anybody can host Classic BIO if they want to. Just enable Biohazard mode in your game settings on the main window (or add -bio1 option to your headless host).

And Dustin, you ignored my question before, but it would be nice if we had a Rome 2 tourney. This tourney is the closest we've gotten to that.

Claudiu -

There are no tournaments that encompass only one map.

There is no classic risk tournament... the high seeds tournament is over a variety of maps. (Last year the maps were classic, bioduex, rome, and castle mp).

If you want a Rome tourney, I suggest you find someone to run it sometime.

Well I got a Average of 4.15 with the extra .4 for my four games... and Trinkett... It's fine... my last two games were either a target or suicide... they were both Biohazard

after falling to a 3.8 i was able to salvage it back to a 5.6.

Wow, 3rd place? I didn't think I'd make top 10. It's too bad someone (not exactly Capt. Janeway, but the opposite of her) half-suicided on me and thus half-killed me for just being me. Now that I look at it, I may have had a chance for 2nd. Or, if I didn't play the last game that got me 6th!

I must note, though, that if this were the Olympics, my place would've counted as 5th.

WOOHOO. I didn't think I'd get that high. I thought there wold be a bunch of classic people who played 20 games so got the +2 bonus and so there would be a lot of people with avergaes of 7-8.5ish. Very happy I'm going to get some pretty award
