I just realized that survivor is NOT going to be played on the original survivor map.

If you read the fine print in the Survivor thread you might notice

I know there's a survivor thread and its already been mentioned there, but I don't feel like many people have realized this and read all the way through all 6 pages. So this thread is to point it out to everyone .. because I had no idea .. and I am extremely opposed to it.

I personally liked survivor the way it was and think that these new maps are way too unbalanced and hectic.

I didn't realize this when signing up at all... I don't think I've ever even seen those other maps..

i have been looking forward to playing in this years luxtoberfest since last years ended... and i have to say that i am seriously disappointed that it wont be hosted on the SURVIVOR map.
i didn't even notice that it was going to be on the pirate maps until i was grabbing some info for my forum banned teammate. when i realized this i asked a few others if they were aware, and EVERY player i have told about it has been shocked and upset.

it would have been nice if snype had let us know or asked before altering this event... its one of my favorites and i would love to see it stay the same

yeah, i'm not that keen on playing on the pirate maps either.

especially when missions involve holding continents. the pirate maps are not really the best choice for that.

I was expecting some other map/maps for some (rather easy) qualification. Last year was a time trial with Shroons which was fine in my opinion.

But playing all team qualifications on the Pirate maps is not a good solution. The overall quality of the teamplay will be better in the finals if the teams play the qualifications on the Survivor map too.

I hope Snype is willing to change it back since so many are a bit disappointed that the Pirate maps will be used.

I think it was pretty childish to include a poll with such heavily biased wording, so I have removed it.

Talk to the tournament master SnyperEye directly if you have comments. He's the one that stepped up to organize Survivor.

The point of some tournaments is to challenge you! Imagine that.

If you have more to say on this, please do it in the official Survivor thread.
