Thursday October 8th, Tournament of Champions for High Seeds!!

1 AM London UK time / 8 PM Eastern time / 5 PM Pacific

This TOC will consist of 4 consecutive games played by the 6 highest seeded players who turn up at the appointed time. There will be 3 rooms (running brackets A, B, C), so a total of 18 people will be able to play. If you are top 30 seed you should definitely show up, and there will probably be room for some 31-50+ seeds also. Players can use either their normal seed or long-term seed to enter.

Show up on time to play. The A bracket will start exactly at the appointed hour. The B room will start 15 minutes later, and the C room 15 minutes later then that.

The maps played will be Classic, Roman Empire II, and 2009 MOTWs.

Scoring is as follows (for each game):
8 points for 1st place
5 points for 2nd place
4 points for 3rd place
3 points for 4th place
2 points for 5th place
1 point for 6th place

The player with the most points in each room will be declared the winner of their TOC.

YES! Finally my LT seed can be used for something...useful.

I have a question about the 4 games. Does this mean that there will be 1 classic, 1 rome and 2 motw? Or will it vary? (Last year classic deux was included and I don't want that back. But even if bio has it's own tourney this year I would be happy if classic deux bio was included in this tourney. After all - it's the most played map at the moment http://sillysoft.net/lux/rankings/maps/ )

∞ C-Rex was as always a little confused about the timings for a while but soon realized that 1AM in Europe means Friday 9th, not Thursday 8th. ∞

GOOD LUCK ALL! I really mean it. I do. Twisted Evil

Which would mean friday 8pm EST? (my friday, not yours)

Crikey it's a headspinner, I have enough trouble arriving on time in my own zone.

And yeah, break a leg.

2am local time is a bit tough...

It seems a lot of information is lacking. The order of how the maps change is not mentioned. We also don't know whether short-term seed is prioritized in relation to LT seed.

Congrats Sam & Will !!!

Also I want to say thank you to all the C-Listers. The games started out very nice and friendly, and stayed that way throughout. It was a nice atmosphere to be apart of, and we didn’t marathon like the other rooms... which was very nice.

Congrats to Will, Sam, and Heartscoffee on your victories!!!

Thank you Hearts, Smashley, PJB, Naraku, and Juveke for four fantastic games. Very few missed kills or whining and no marathons made for an hour and eight minutes of world conquering fun. I think it's also great that it came down to the last game to decide the winner. Woo Hoo!!!!

Color Me Jealous.

And Congrats to the Winners.

Big Will, your diplomacy, patience (really needed it in our bracket), and skill translates well onto every map. Nice job in our bracket.
