but i thought that existing apps are compatible with the ipad.

I don't have an iphone so I am not sure.

Most iPhone apps are compatible with the iPad, but they run one of two ways: Either at their original size in a tiny (iPhone-sized) box in the middle of the screen, or using pixel doubling, which makes them look sort of chunky and strange.

I just installed Lux DLX on my iPad and gave it a spin. It runs pretty well and actually looks pretty good in 2x view. It starts out assuming that it's in a small iPhone screen, but it's easy to pinch-scale the map to fit the iPad's screen, and the map looks pretty nice. The text is a little odd, but still readable.

I would think it would make maps easier to convert to ipad then to iphone.

I'd like to submit my vote for a proper, full screen version of Lux Deluxe for the iPad. Even if I had to buy it again, I'd do it in a second. Thanks!

I know I'm behind here, but do you think we could get a Lux for the iPad that more mirrors the Desktop version? With online play and the like. I'd pay for that in a heartbeat.
