October 5th-6th is the 2010 Map Retrospective!!
All Day Tuesday and All Day Wednesday
The 2010 Map Retrospective will mean that only maps released in 2010 can be played online during these 2 days.
That means no Classic, no Roman Empire II, and no Deux will be listed in the LuxTracker during these 2 days. Only maps released in 2010! Come out and play some of the great maps that have been released this year!
Paranoiarodeo has graciously agreed to create some kind of scoring system for this tournament. Details to come...

| I enjoyed the King Arthur map even though I made some screw ups on it, LOL. Nice map, good to get away from the habitual ones from time to time. |

IMPORTANT (brief) UPDATE
I'd like to apologize to everyone for not having this event up and running smoothly sooner ... getting everything setup has taken more time and effort than I had hoped but we're almost there ... I will have a detailed explanation of my scoring system and real time stats up late tonight ... but until then I just wanted to mention a few things ...
AUTOMATIC MAP ROTATION AND MARATHON PREVENTION
One of my eight room will change maps every fifteen minutes ... so keep an eye on the game tracker ... if you see a map you really like then grab your friends and go play ... be quick though 'cause it will disappear two hours later ... another unique feature of my rooms only during this event ... MARATHONS WILL BE NUKED AFTER 45 MINUTES ... you will be given automatic time updates and ample warning ... so please don't cry if all your hard work disappears 'cause you were draggin' your feet ... next time stop foolin' around and KILL KILL KILL ™ ...

SCORING OVERVIEW
The rankings will be a hybrid of Luxtoberfest's usual points for place and MOTW's proportional bot game value system ... put simply ... you don't need to play full houses to qualify for the event ... two and three bots games are worth something but four and five human games will be worth significantly more ... and unlike other Luxtober events ... you probably aren't gonna win by playing the minimum number required 'cause ... and lemme emphasize this ... there's gonna be generous bonuses for playing a wide variety of maps ... in other words ... don't get stuck in your comfort zone ... spread your wings and fly ... abandon your fears and conquer new battlefields ... enjoy all Lux has too offer ... !
(Remember to hug our friendly mapmakers too!)
Also dustin might extend this event until mid-afternoon Thursday ...

I've turned off Classic Touch HD, CLASSIC REDUX and DEUX REDUX as maps, since they don't have new layouts.
Some games were played on DEUX REDUX, which I think is OK, I just don't want it dominating the whole tournament. |

| The idea for this tournment is great ,but it suck that were all in it and nobody know how the scoring system is working.Like how many games it takes to be counted inn ,I hope the scoring system doesnt benefit more to the players who plays the more games... |
