I am running Java version 6 update 26, Lux Delux 6.21, and Windows XP.

What is the proper procedure for hosting a multiplayer game to which another player may connect? The method which I am using which seems to follow the documentation does not work. I set the players to one Human, one <network> and four AI's. I click "Allow other players to Join" and "Advertise game Internet-wide." When I start the game the other player connects to game but is not a player (i.e. the game doesn't give him any starting countries whilst on random country placement mode.)

Here is the log from the multiplayer game:

✱ Registered successfully with LuxTracker from address IP✱
✱ Username has joined (IP) ✱


The game proceeds with the Human player and the AI without the network player at all.

After people have joined, the host can type the command /start and a new game will start that includes the new people.
