Earlier today, in the wee hours of the morning, after twenty-nine days of perfect uptime, I rebooted my Lux server for routine maintenance and OS upgrades. Six hours later, lobotomist officially eclipsed the 100k games hosted mark. Roughly speaking, and excluding days offline: lobotomist hosted an average of 216 games per day (463 days) since March 2010. Kinda scary, huh? Anyway, this achievement wouldn't have been possible without generous contributions from five individuals in mid-September, who were kind enough to help me buy a new Mac mini, or the recent support of twelve more Luxers, whose donations have kept me online. Too often, little milestones like this one pass by unnoticed in our community. Self-congratulations aside, I felt this moment was as good as any for pausing to thank everyone for their trust and friendship throughout all my years here in Lux. So, yeah. Woohoo! Thanks again.
