Perhaps the forums could do with a bit more... color?
In all honesty though, such a system that I've shown below would also help newbies see how much prestige certain players have. This could be useful if a newbie asks a question about etiquette, then when they receive a response from 3DA (as just one example that I've chosen) they can see that he is a Hall of Fame Inductee (from his username's color) and then they'll be more likely to take his advice into consideration instead of dismissing him because the newb [somehow] hasn't heard of 3DA. A 10k Game group would also serve a similar purpose.

(Obviously the Legend isn't in the proper place, but you get the point, right?)

It would also be a way of rewarding players for their efforts, much like the Lux Ranking pages do.

Thank you for taking a humble suggestion into consideration. Feel free to dispise my ideas, but if you do, at least back up your judgement with data.
