Tuesday October 3rd, Tournament of Champions for Old Folks!!
12 AM GMT time / 8 PM Eastern time / 5 PM Pacific
In order to qualify as an Old Folk you must have been playing online Lux on or before May 13th 2005, the date that Lux 5 was released. A little bit of leeway can be given if you joined close to this cutoff point.
This TOC will consist of 1-3 rooms (as needed) with only Old Folks playing, for a period of 3 hours. It's OK to show up somewhat late to this event and still join in.
The maps played will be Classic Risk, Classic Part Deux, and some olde tyme maps. A mix of card and continent settings will be used, tending towards the old school ways.
Scoring is as follows (for each game):
8 points for 1st place
5 points for 2nd place
4 points for 3rd place
3 points for 4th place
2 points for 5th place
1 point for 6th place
Each person's score will be calculated as (total points / games) with a minimum of 3 games required. If there is a tie then a tie-breaker match will be played to declare the Old Timer winner.

Here's how you can all tell if you qualify as an Old Folk:
Go to you rankings page and look for the new User ID listing on the left side. If your number is below 4820 then you qualify as an olde timer. |

Is 2 days close enough? My first online game was May 15th, but I was registered and playing offline for a while before that.
Or can I qualify as an old timer for still running Mac OS 10.2? |

The TOC for Old Folks is now over. Thanks to all the elders who showed up. A number of lost Luxers returned to grace us with their presence. Big congrats to our olde tyme TOC winner Darth Rellek!! The Lux runs strong in him.
