Thursday October 5th, Tournament of Champions for the Regions!!

Americas starts at:
9 PM Eastern time / 6 PM Pacific

Europe-Africa starts at:
7 PM GMT time / 8 PM British Summer / 9 PM Central Euro Summer

Asia-Pacific starts at:
Noon GMT time / 9 PM in Japan / 10 PM in Melbourne

Each of these TOC will consist of 1-3 rooms (as needed) with only players from the given regions playing, for a period of 3 hours. It's OK to show up somewhat late to this event and still join in.

The maps played will be Classic Risk, Classic Part Deux, and maybe some Castle or surprise maps. A mix of card and continent settings will be used.

Scoring is as follows (for each game):
8 points for 1st place
5 points for 2nd place
4 points for 3rd place
3 points for 4th place
2 points for 5th place
1 point for 6th place

Each person's score will be calculated as (total points / games) with a minimum of 3 games required. If there is a tie then a tie-breaker match will be played to declare the Regional winners.

Yes, it is local time for each one.

I believe that Asia-Pacific happens first, then Euro, then Americas. Is that correct?

I wasn't sure as you put the Asia one down last on the list...

... but if it is local time, then, yes, Asia/Pacific will start first.

And if you are reading this in Wednesday time, don't bother getting out of bed, it's a lousy day out there... Cool Cool

Asia sucked... no one showed except Niet.

Yeah, asia-pacific was pretty much a no-go. Niet wins by default.

I'm looking forward to some bigger Eruo and America battles...

Does how long you've been playing lux count? I'm thinking of making a new name as I'm sick of people thinking I play Warcraft (I honestly thought of the name. Never played Warcraft) Back on subject, I may make a new nick toend it, so my question is does age matter, as if I make the new nick I will obviously show up as a noob.

Everyone is free to play in the regional tournament (as long as they live in the right area).

The Europe-Africa tournament is about to start, come join if you want to play.
