October 14th, 2006 Map Retrospective!!
8 PM GMT / 4 PM Eastern / 1 PM Pacific
The 2006 Map Retrospective will consist of 1 or more rooms playing games on maps released in 2006. Come out and get a look at some of the great maps that have been put out this year!
It will go on for about 3 hours, so OK to show up somewhat late to this event and still join in.
Scoring is as follows (for each game):
8 points for 1st place
5 points for 2nd place
4 points for 3rd place
3 points for 4th place
2 points for 5th place
1 point for 6th place
Each person's score will be calculated as (total points / games) with a minimum of 3 games required. If there is a tie then a tie-breaker match will be played to declare the winner.

GOOD MORNING, AFTERNOON, and EVENING LUX COMMUNITY!
I Look forward to seeing everyone throughout the day during Retrospective 2006 Map Night. Earlier during the week I asked those who I bumped into to Please play and rate some maps from the 2006 listing. Because we have so many talented map makers that produced so many new awesome maps we definately wont be able to go through them all today. So I will most likely not be hosting maps rated below a 3
After the 1st game all players will be demoted to the bottom of the player list including the winner and the next 6 will be up to play. Prior to the next game I Will announce the next map. PET PEEVE: PLEASE!!! If this is a map you do not wish to participate in PLEASE GUEST OUT! for that map. (if it allows). If multiple rooms are being used and you are in a game already please guest out of the other room out of curtesy for other players.
Preferences will change according to the map size and will be announced with the map prior to the game.
The first map of Retrospective 2006 will be BLOCKS 2: A bridge too far. (3,6,9) |
