Full Guide to Lux Delux

Lux Delux has lots of great features that you might not know about. This guide details them all, so you can get all the fun you deserve.

Start with a tour of the Main Game Window to start a game. Read the Basics to learn how to play.

Mod-keys

Learn all the Keyboard Shortcuts to quickly place armies and attack how you want while playing. Version 5.6 added even more.

Preferences

Look in the Preferences window for settings that you can change.

Some preferences to consider:
- Automatically growing maps to fit the screen.
- Putting the Player info inside the map window.
- Changing your attacking armies to automatically advance.
- Under the Game Options tab you can change card and continent settings.

Maps and Plugins

The Plugin Manager allows you to install new maps and AIs as they become available.

Lux includes a Map Editor that you can use to make your own maps, or alter existing ones.

Programmers can use the Lux SDK to write computer AIs or map generators.

Network Games

Lux Delux has an active online multiplayer community. See the Network Games page for details on joining games, hosting games, and the ranking system.
