Desert
Beautiful fenced and tree-lined pathways lie within the desert. Bridges connect what used to be islands in an ancient ocean. Each island represents a continent. Sections of the island represent countries.

Chinese symbols mark certain countries. Armies may travel between countries with matching symbols. Five symbols represent the elements: Water, Fire, Wood, Earth, Metal. A sixth element, whose significance has been lost over time, stands alone.
