France 1792 The major powers of Europe; Austria, Prussia, Great Britain, Spain, Piedmont; feared the rise of France. They banded together in the 1st Coalition. There aim was to destroy the French Revolution and preserve the monarchies of Europe. This map encourages historical coalitions against France. France is immediately strong, with Paris alone being worth 10 armies. Great Britain played a supporting role, using allied ports.
