North Polar Chart 1882 Map

update - version 1.2 scenario added The North Polar Chart mapped the known arctic coastlines at the time. An international effort was underway to conduct a synchronous exploration and scientific discovery of the north polar region. Since exploration and mapping of the entire arctic was not complete at the time, the map has a large unexplored region around the pole. Also, Franz Josef Land north of Siberia, is innacurate. The country and province borders and names are accurate to the 1880's. For example, all of Ireland was part of Great Britain at the time.
