Theatrum Historicum II--The Ancient World Map

Theatrum Historicum (literally, Historic Theater) is a map covering Europe, North Africa, and West Asia. Based on a map in David Rumsey's map collection, this board provides a good base for historical scenarios. This map has the same territories as Theatrum Historicum I, but different continents and a different scenario. This, the second map in the Theatrum Historicum series, is set in 600BC. Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon reigns supreme in the rich fertile crescent, but Medo-Persia lurks to the east, and Egypt to the west. Greece and the Phoenicians are new powers in the Mediterranean, vying for control, and the Barbarians are watching from the north for an opportunity to seize the wealthy lands.
