Central Asian Republic
version 1.02
rated 3.1 (49 votes)
by top row

The Unification of the Cental Asian Republic 2011

Central Asia's population, made up of several ethnic groups, some of which are concentrated in more than one country; Uzbecks in Uzbeckistan, Afghanistan, Kazakstan and Tajikistan, Tajiks in Tajikistan and Afghanistan etc. desires amalgamation into one republic. Combining ethnic populations wanting consolidation, with the Kazak people's weariness of Russia and a hope by all to contain Islamic fundamentalists now that foreign troops have left Afghanistan, Unification Militias in all Central Asian Countries form. These Unification Militias battle Nationalist militias, anti-unionist government troops and Islamic Fundamentalists to create one unified and strong Central Asian Republic.

Iran is pulled into the fight when a Unification Militia forms in its south eastern province of Baluchestan va Sistan. The militia there has the goal of separating this province from Iran and joining their ethnic cousins in the Balochistan province of Pakistan.

India, hoping to capitalize on Pakistan's involvement joins the fray in hopes of gaining permanent control of Kashmir, assuming a larger Central Asian Republic would be too concerned with other matters to fight for it.

There are 8 "hubs" on this map. Each independently operated by a tycoon. The tycoons have agreed to permit trains from other tycoons to travel into their territory but only via a hub. In some cases you must travel through one hub to get to another.

Pangea V.2
version 2.0
rated 3.1 (40 votes)
by TheEmporer

100 Years from now, a great cataclysm has befallen planet earth. Due to global warming the polar ice caps melted, and the stress on the planet cause the techtonic plates to reverse direction and rapidly speed up.
Welcome to Pangea V.2
Many changes have taken place in governments, continents, and the nations themselves, and in the chaos, some new country alliances have been formed, and some have stayed the same. A new nation of Antartica has been created, since it is no longer located in the extreme south pole and has become habitable. As always, countries have come to war...can you be the general that unifies the new world?

**This is my first map...hope you have some fun**

Master Detective Cluxdo
version 1.1
rated 3.1 (40 votes)
by Sylocat

At Mr. Quasar's country house, he was once again eliminated in a game. Your job is to help Detective Syzygy solve the mystery by matching a suspect to a map. From any room in the house (there are more of them this time!), you may attack one of 5 suspect files, and from there you may attack one of the 5 map files (pick a map you think that suspect might have used). Be warned, accusations can't be taken back, so troops moved onto the suspect files can't be returned to the house, don't get stuck!

Once again there are 5 solutions, and a correct one will get you a nifty bonus!

Newfoundland and Labrador
version 1.3
rated 3.1 (28 votes)
by Corey J Burton

This Lux Delux war takes place in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is a tribute to those Newfoundlanders who fought and died at Beaumont-Hamel, WWI. There are 40 countries and 11 continents on the map. The Iron Ore Truck in Labrador city and the Power plant in Churchill Falls offer no extra income themselves, but are located in the continent with the highest value. The Newfie Bullet was an actual train in Newfoundland and can be used to attack between any two 'X's.

"It's not where you are, it's where you're headed that matters." Joey Smallwood, the first Premier of Newfoundland.

Bridges connect islands in an ancient ocean turned desert. Each island is surrounded by fence and sectioned into square regions. A bonus is given to an army occupying all regions of an island.

Fenceless regions all lead to the solitary field. Owning that field and all fenceless regions will give the largest bonus.

Ground Zero
version 1.3
rated 3 (110 votes)
by Rick Godman

Europe, next year or the year after. The main terrorists of the region have been calmed down a bit using "extreme prejudice". I'm still in two minds (what else is new!?) about whether the islands in the centre of the strikes should be negative or positive bonus - let me know what you think please.

Notes:
(1) Inspiration for the map came from http://www.strangepolitics.com/content/item/113988.html
(2) If you don't understand why "Rainbow Warrior Sea" is called that, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinking_of_the_Rainbow_Warrior

Atlanta
version 1.2
rated 3 (89 votes)
by Mark Bauer

Take control of the capital of Georgia in the battle for Atlanta! The Interstates are the only way in and out of the city. Will the countryiside and suburbs unite against the powerful city, or will the southern metropolis rule the region with an iron fist? You decide!

Version 1.2-6 player starting scenario

Solar System Dominance
version 6.3
rated 3 (82 votes)
by Anon

This board is based on our Solar System. This includes the Planet Ceres which has been incorrectly classified as an asteroid. A simple adjustment to the ancient (Bodes Law) identifies Ceres as a major mass within a planetary periodicity.

**You are encouraged to snipe this; adjust it to the way you want it; and then Post it as a different scenario. Except, that you should include this message within your version of this board. Thank you.**

Allied bodies are:

Mercury, Venus, and Mars +4
Earth & Moon +6
The Planet Ceres +10
Asteroids +5
The Galilean Moons of Jupiter +5
The Moons of Saturn +4
The Rings of Saturn +2
The Moons of Uranus +3
The Moons of Neptune +3
Pluto & Charon +2
2003 UB313, the Kuiper Belt
Solar Space is divided into the Inner(+3), Middle(+5), and Outer(+3) systems.

Special connections exist between the (Rings of Saturn) and the First (Moons of Saturn).

This is a (BIG BOARD) game and could take a very long time to play. You may want to limit cards to (5,5,5). Also, turn time limit should be set higher because of the possible need to move (Big Fronts) in a multiplayer games.

MapLAB update: Added a starting scenario

Luxtopia
version 1.0
rated 3 (80 votes)
by RandomGuy

Luxtopia

Normally a peaceful land, Luxtopia has thrived under Lord Quasar. But unrest is brewing in the countryside.

Find your home in Luxtopia - whether it be one of the churches, a local landmark or even in Noob Village and DEFEND YOUR TURF.

Be careful, gameplay inside Noob Village can be a little unconventional!

Thanks to Mark Bauer and the Anti-Holy Archives for the building and tree graphics.

KAOS
version 1.02
rated 3 (80 votes)
by top row

KAOS - Battle of the Spies

Team up with spies from TV and movies to wrest control of the world from KAOS. Beware of KAOS double agents who are visible in your midst as well as unidentified black-suited agents, whom might catch you off your guard.

Each KAOS double agents has an un-identified black-suited agent, meaning each of those "countries" has three parts. Be careful as Spy Power "country army" numbers only appear over the KAOS Headquarter part of each KAOS spy. As movement arrows cannot be custom located, they will not be accurate when attacking to or from a KAOS agent.

Make Maxwell Smart proud and battle for spy supremacy.

Use of foreground image (swirls) meets iconBazaar.com's terms of usage.

Version 1.02 - expanded to 900 pixels wide. Game play sidebar instructions added.

Europe war
version 1.2
rated 3 (63 votes)
by Caio Mauro and Mark Bauer

Modification of Mark Bauer's WWII Europe map.

Variante mappa Mark Bauer Europa War

Story:
The year is 2025, the grand experiment that was the European Union has failed! Yet again the continent plunges into an all out war! Each country is growing increasingly suspicious of the others as alliances crumble and chaos ensues. It’s now becoming clear that this time no one will have allies and no one will be safe! The American Republic sees this as their opportunity to finally model all of Europe after themselves. Britain is forced to beg Canada to come to their aid. It is time for a new European order, scratch that, it’s time for a NEW WORLD ORDER!

Rules:
The dotted lines are not lines of attack, but borders for the sea zones.

The squares in the sea zones represent fleets. Sea zones can attack any adjacent sea zone or coastal territory. Any coastal territory can attack any adjacent sea zone.

Or in Italian if you prefer:

Storia:

Snakes and Ladders SI
version 1.4
rated 3 (61 votes)
by Sir Holo

Now with juicy overground goodness: Inspired by, but entirely different from, the ancient children's game of snakes and ladders. Yeah, the board looks similar, but the gameplay is pure Lux.

Can you figure out how to get where you want to go? The bots can. ;-)

All country borders are one-way, just follow the arrows. Rows are continents. Ladders go up, and slides go down. You'd better defend your continents well, because it's a long way back around! By necessity, 100 connects to 1.

Have fun, and comments are appreciated.

Rome-1st punic war 264-241 BC
version 1.6
rated 3 (60 votes)
by VinnyVediVici

In first half of 3rd century BC Carthage held many territories that made it easy for them to control and dominate the western Mediterranean Sea, but when they conquered the Greek city of Syracuse on the north eastern tip of Sicily in 264, they faced the Romans in war for the first time.
The locals of Syracuce had requested Rome for aid, and for many different reasons Rome came to thier rescue. The fear of a powerful neighbour was only one out of several motivations by the Romans. The promise of glory and plunder was also of great importance.
At this point in time, the world is split into several powers. By 300 BC Alexander the Great's Empire was divided among his generals: Antigonus, Seleucus, and Ptolemy. All believed that they were the rightful heirs to Alexander's Empire, and remained constantly at war. The hordes to the north have yet to be conqured by Rome. This is the state of the world, will Rome destroy Carthage, and dominate the world? Will Alexander's empire ever be united? Or will the Barbarians reign supreme? You decide.
*the best bot at this game is evil pixie, killbot is hard as well*

Small USA
version 1.3
rated 3 (59 votes)
by Capitalism Americana

Fight your very own ideological battle in the lower 48! This is a small map designed with low (if any) card bonuses in mind. The battles, however, are still very fierce and bloody. The feint of heart are warned.
