To preserve knowledge and save mankind, Seldon gathered the best minds in the Empire - both scientists and scholars - and brought them to a bleak planet at the edge of the Galaxy to serve as a beacon of hope for future generations. | Saipan version 1.6 rated 3 (41 votes) by Kelvin Rodeo | 68 Countries, 20 Continents
Saipan is the largest island and capital of the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), a chain of 15 tropical islands belonging to the Marianas archipelago in the western Pacific Ocean.
Located at latitude of 15.25° north and longitude of 145.75° east, about 120 mi north of Guam, Saipan is about 13 mi long and 6 mi wide. It is a popular tourist destination in the Pacific.
Starting Scenario:
A war has broken out on the island of Saipan as a large group of long staying guest workers and their supporters fight against the local government and the indigenous people of Saipan for their rights to citizenship or a better immigration status. The government denies all their requests and drives the guest workers to a point where they have no other option but to take up arms in their last chance to get their long overdue rights as citizens of Saipan. Will the government win and continue to oppress the nonresident population of Saipan, or will the guest workers win and take control of the island? The fate of the people lies in your hands....

 | Franco-Prussian War HD version 1.1 rated 3 (19 votes) by Mark Bauer | This map has been optimized for use on the iPad.
Tension between France and Prussia had been building for years when Spanish rebels overthrew Queen Isabella of Spain. The rebels offered the vacant Spanish thrown to a Prussian prince. Napoleon III of France, immediately protested this move and threatened war against Prussia. Wilhelm I of Prussia agreed to back off the Spanish thrown. Falsely sensing weakness, Napoleon III demanded that no Prussian monarch ever be considered for the Spanish thrown. In response, Wilhelm sent a telegram from his vacation home in Ems, politely refusing this demand. Wilhelm's Prime Minister, Otto Von Bismarck, sensed opportunity to orchestrate war and unite Germany. He edited the telegram and insulted the French, while at the same time making it sound as if the French had insulted Wilhelm. The scheme worked. France declared war on Prussia, and under skillful diplomatic maneuvering, Bismarck ensured that the independent Germanic states allied with Prussia, thus uniting Germany against a common foe. |

 | Vancouver Ski Jumping version 1.1 rated 3 (15 votes) by mentor09 | Ski Jumping for the Luxlympic Winter Games
Some hints:
Unusual are the one way directions - Starting at the top of the
Towers, you can only move downwards; a coward watching the
height of the jump may go back to the Entrance as well... But
once you are gliding down the ramp you must take off and jump.
The Jump can end on each position below the take-off ramp
down to the Gold medal positions. From the landing point itself
you can only ski downwards to the exit.
Once there the only way back up to the hill is using the lift or
walking through the spectator areas. Using the lift on the right
hand side is the other one way direction - once entered the lift
you must go upwards.
The upper station can be reached from the left side as well but
there is no way down the hill from there (again you can walk
through the spectators area).
There is only one way up to the Towers then - You have to use the entrance. It is a single spot on top of the hill below the towers. It looks like three countries but is just one. It is marked with a tiny green dot. From there you can walk downhills to the Judges
positions, a kind of dead end (income with easy to hold spot, but
therefore it will not gain much additional troups.
I hope you enjoy this map... |

 | France 1792 version 1.3 rated 2.9 (89 votes) by wizard88 | France 1792
The major powers of Europe; Austria, Prussia, Great Britain, Spain, Piedmont; feared the rise of France. They banded together in the 1st Coalition. There aim was to destroy the French Revolution and preserve the monarchies of Europe.
This map encourages historical coalitions against France. France is immediately strong, with Paris alone being worth 10 armies.
Great Britain played a supporting role, using allied ports. England is connected one-way to The Netherlands, Lisbon, and Corsica.

 | Cold War version 1.7 rated 2.9 (71 votes) by JGrajek | Cold war map with a different perspective. A you can see the map is from the North Pole view. There are 2 Two ICBM Subs. The dark dotted line that runs through the North Pole divides the hemispheres that the ICBMs can attack. There are lines showing how to take control of the ICBMs. 2 for each. The are 3 airfields. See the map for details on attacks. Airfields can attack ICBM submarines. Only countries that touch airfields can attack airfields and reinforce airfield countries.
There is also a break out map of the European countries. You can click through either one, depending on your eyesight/resolution. Hope you enjoy.

 | March Madness version 1.2 rated 2.9 (68 votes) by albert | A first effort map -- based on a tournament bracket.
Two "teams" (terretories) play in a "game" (continent). Each team can play their opponent or the team directly above or below them in the tournament.
The championship position (middle) is a continent by itself.
Controlling a game is worth bonus armies. Games in the first round are worth 2 bonus armies, 2nd round worth 3 bonus armies, etc. Controlling the championship position is worth 7 bonus armies.
Created using both the map editor and a text editor.
Probably needs some adjustment for bonus values, extra points on terretories to make squares, and a background image/theme.

 | Luxtego version 1.1 rated 2.9 (59 votes) by Arthur J. Knapp | War, what is it good for?
This board is quite challanging against certain bots, and requires atypical strategies, as you must avoid the very high penalty of the landmines. Try "luring" your opponents into attacking them.
On initial setup, you and one opponent each hold your own sides of the board, so you start of with:
10 armies : Flag
-30 armies : -5 for each Landmine
-1 army : Agent
3 armies : General of the Army
2 armies : General
2 armies : 1 for each Colonel
2 armies : for holding all 3 Majors
1 army : for holding all 4 Captains
1 army : for holding all 4 Lieutenants
1 army : for holding all 4 Sergeants
1 army : for holding all 5 Corporals
1 army : for holding all 8 Privates
10 + -30 + -1 + 3 + 2 + 2 +
2 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 +
( 46 contries / 3 = 15 ) = 3 armies |
