Likewise Military operations are precluded betweeen

 | BattleLand 5000B.C. version 2.3 rated 2.5 (60 votes) by Bryce | The first of the 5 BattleLand Eras. The middle continent has connections with every other continent. Each time you advance closer to our age, BattleLand evolves to make more complex strategies needed. Of course, just focus on the middle continent and you are doing yourself a huge favor.
If you want a new BattleLand arena to be made, you must be able to get a rating of 2.7 or higher. But remember, the strategy changes with every stage, so it is almost impossible to use a consistent strategy and win on all of the BattleLand arenas.
Have a GG,
-Bryce

 | The Texas Revolution version 1.3 rated 2.5 (57 votes) by Texorama | The Texas Revolution was fought from October 2, 1835 to April 21, 1836 between Mexico and the Tejas portion of the Mexican state of Coahuila y Tejas.
Animosity between the Mexican government and the North American settlers in Texas began with the April 6, Laws of 1835, when Mexican President and General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna Perez de Lebron, abolished the Constitution of 1824 and proclaimed a new anti-federalist constitution in its place. Unrest soon followed throughout all of Mexico and war began in Texas on October 1, 1835 with the Battle of Gonzales. Early Texian success at La Bahia and San Antonio were soon met with crushing defeat at the same locations a few months later.
The 24 countries shown reflect the actual territories of this area in early 1835 when the Texas Revolution began.

Each zone represents a major land based air strike facility. The density of the network prevents slipping past a neighbor's airspace. Your goal: Control the entire network of major cities.
Using cities instead of countries means uniform control node shapes. This abstracted strategic map comes in a specific real world layout. Polar projection avoids attacking off the edge of the map.

 | Escape From Colditz! version 1.7 rated 2.4 (71 votes) by Frustrated | You are a prisoner at the infamous special camp. Your task: Escape From Colditz! You can escape from the castle, but there is only one way in!
Will German efficiency overcome British resolve? Will Dutch ingenuity triumph over Polish daring? Will the cheese eating surrender monkeys finally achieve something?!
Recommend setting your country border setting to 1/3 or less at the thin end of the scale so you can see which countries connect and which are just close but not connected rooms.
All internal continents connect from the courtyard via one stair passage and have at least one escape exit.
NB, the cells do not connect to the interior of the castle! There are several one way rooms that make planning difficult. Deciphering the map is half the challenge! Enjoy!
Theme allows tunnels and air routes as part of concept and therefore allows explorations of map topology and perception. The map is made to challenge human perceptual advantages of grouping and pattern recognition. The full consequences of backdoor routes and topology are not easy to perceive, and area does not equate to power. Confusing these factors dulls the edge of human players over the AI.
Continent bonuses are kept low to give chance and the AI players more of an edge. With low bonuses and card rewards (5,5,5 recommended) strategy becomes far more difficult for humans.
The next major version (2.0) will have a far prettier background picture, appropriate gothic lettering, 120 rooms and more escapes. All suggestions welcome. If someone artistic wants to help make a better background map and foreground textures for the rooms let me know.
Updates for version 1.6; continent values increased to be more equal to the number of defensive points, country borders changed for clarity.

 | Massachusetts version 1.2 rated 2.4 (58 votes) by Andy Chase | Battle for the Bay State! 14 countries corresponding to the counties and islands of Massachusetts, divided into three continents. A small map, but surpisingly fun. (Cape Cod can be harder to hold on to than it looks!) Design-wise, I was inspired by the classic 1970's/early 1980's game board I grew up with. This was largely an excercise in the mechanics of map-making on my part, so although there are a few things that could use improvement (country and continent borders are a bit close together, theme graphics are choppy in places), this will probably be the only release of this map unless somebody finds an egregious error somewhere.

 | Parallel Classic Risk World version 2.2 rated 2.4 (43 votes) by AJ Bertenshaw-modified by Tokyokid | Thanks to AJ Bertenshaw for the original layout.
Welcome to Classic Risk in a parallel world! All the contenints have different names now and have bigger or smaller empires then in the real world. Africa or (Larrrica) has expanded it's empire into the once Europe, Asia, and South America. South America or (Klect) Is now in North America. Brazil is no longer a part of Klect. Canada or (Cazanda) is now in Greenland and Iceland. America has the same name and is just Eastern and Western United States. Uroepe is just one country. Scanurope is Scandinavia with two countries. Asia which is now Aasis owns part of the once Urope and two others in Asia. The Japenaz or (Japan) empire has expanded into Asia owning four countries total. Afganastan or (Afetchen) now has India, China, Siam, and one other country. And finally, Geetha which once was Austraila, stays the same in every way besides it's name. If you read this whole description, I thank you. Enjoy!
