It is November 30, 1939. Last month, Germany and the Soviet Union signed a non-aggression pact. Unbeknownst to the Finns, this non-aggression pact placed Finland and most of Eastern Europe into a Soviet "sphere of influence." The USSR immediately demanded that Finland cede the Karelian isthmus. Finland has refused. Now, Finland has been forced to mobilize their small forces and prepare for an overwhelming onslaught. The Soviet army outnumbers the Finns 3 to 1. The USSR not only wants the Karelian Isthmus, but the whole of Finland! The stage is set for the Winter War!

 | Two Worlds version 1.21 rated 3.6 (104 votes) by Sylocat | Originally conceived at a party where some guys put two Risk boards together to create a new challenge, and prodded for me to do it by a couple guys on the forums. The story is, somewhere between Alaska and Kamchatka there is hidden a mysterious portal to another world. Go through the portal and take over the other world too. The two worlds are identical in every way, so there's no unfamiliar ground. You won't find the portal every time, by which I mean that the Alaska-Kamchatka connection is still open on each individual map. Happy dimension-hopping! |

Several notable landmarks are worth bonus points - the castles of Glinda the good and the Wicked Witch. Scarecrow's tower, The Tin Woodman's house, Cowardly Lion's Den as well as Dorothy's house. Also, the Yellow Brick Road provides a bonus and a fast track to the Emerald City.

 | Inverse World version 1.1 rated 3.6 (102 votes) by RandomGuy | The year 2107. After decades of drilling, mining and wholesale harvesting of the Earth's natural resources, a giant void has formed under the Earth's surface. Without warning, a giant earthquake shakes the planet and the seven continents collapse upon themselves leaving giant craters in their wake. Water from all the oceans flow rapidly into the newly formed crevices, destroying all in their path. The seismic eruptions cause mountain ranges to forcefully rise up from the previous ocean depths. Everything that had been covered by water is now dry land - everything that was land, is now underwater.
Far away on the Mars colony, the space colonists from Earth see the violent upheaval and race back to their home planet. They land to find the inverse world. The former island nations are staking claim to large claims of land, while the previous land powers are relegated to small islands. New governments are formed. New continents are declared: The South Pacific Kingdom, North Pacific Territory, North Atlantic States, South Atlantic Kingdom, Indian Kingdom, Tasmania, Philippine Kingdom, Arctic Land, Mediterranean Kingdom and the Siberian Kingdom. Capital cities spring up where former island nations thrived. But peace is fleeting - this new age land rush has sprouted into a full fledged world war.
Which nation will rule the Inverse World?

 | Barbary Wars version 1.1 rated 3.6 (95 votes) by Mark Bauer | America has finally thrown off the shackles of British rule, but now a new threat is confronting the fledgling republic...Pirates! And not just any pirates, but Barbary Pirates! For decades the rogue Barbary States have been padding their bank accounts with the ludicrous ransoms extorted from the major maritime powers of the world. America has been forced to pay tribute to the Barbary rulers in exchange for passage through the Mediterranean and access to the rich trade routes of the east. Now, the Pirates are getting greedy and have upped their already exorbitant ransom. The year is 1801, the day of Jefferson's inauguration, Tripoli has just demanded payment of $225,000! The normally pacifist Jefferson is enraged and has dispatched the American Navy along with a detachment of Marines to finally settle the score and show these pirates that there's a new boss in town. America's first MidEast war has begun! From the halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli, fight for what is rightfully yours!
Scenario set up (Random Start off):
Player 1: U.S. Navy
Player 2: Tripoltan Pirates
Player 3: Tunisian Pirates
Player 4: Algerian Pirates
Player 5: Moroccan Pirates
Scenario is best when the Pirates team together against the U.S. Navy (Nef, Reaper, BOD). |

 | Bay of Pigs version 1.2 rated 3.6 (84 votes) by RandomGuy | Bay of Pigs Invasion
April 15 - April 19, 1961
In early 1961, a group of US-funded and supplied Cuban exiles returned to invade Cuba in an attempt to topple the communist government of Fidel Castro.
The invasion took place at the Bay of Pigs (Bahia de Cochinos) on the Southwestern coast of Cuba.
With the support of President Kennedy, the CIA, fresh off recent success in overthrowing governments in Iran and Guatemala felt confident they could take down Castro. They trained, funded and supplied over 1,500 Cuban exiles for the attack.
On the morning of April 15, the attack began with flights of B-26 Marauder and A-26 Invaders attacking airfields in the landing region. Soldiers parachuted in behind enemy lines to target strategic bridges, roads and defenses.
Meanwhile four 2,400 ton transport ships accompanied by CIA-owned landing crafts brought the ground troops. They landed at Playa Larga and Playa Giron. Unfortunately for the landing forces, what was identified as seaweed in satellite surveillance was in reality razor-sharp coral reefs, which slowed progress and sank several ships before reaching shore.
The revolutionary troops eventually landed and quickly forced back the defending Cuban militia. However once US involvement became public knowledge, air support abruptly ended. It also became apparent that Cuba had advance knowledge of the invasion and had effectively camouflaged their air force - their own planes scrambled to the skies to retaliate against the sea vessels and invading land forces.
The invading force got pinned down in the Zapata swamp by the resurging Cuban Army, and with lack of air support, they were quickly captured and defeated.
By April 21, 104 revolutionaries were dead, the rest captured. As many as 5,000 Cuban military were dead.
Now, you can recreate the invasion - Will the revolutionary forces stick to the plan and win? Or will the Cuban Army once again fend off the invaders?
Map Rules:
1) US Aircraft can only attack their designated parachute drop zones.
2) Cuban airports can attack US aircraft in addition to their neighboring countries.
3) Naval troops can only land at the marked beach coastline near Playa Larga and Playa Giron.
Map Scenario:
Player 1: Invading US-led Revolutionaries
Player 2: Cuban Army and Militia

 | Devil's Brigade version 1.1 rated 3.6 (83 votes) by Devil's Brigade TV | By the time the FSSF arrived in Italy, the Allies had tried many times to remove the German army from its entrenched positions along what was known as the Camino massif. The positions held by the Axis forces blocked the only clear path to Rome sizeable enough to move an army. The Allies' plan was to knock one of the Axis powers out of the war entirely. Italy was the selected target.
Upon arrival at the Camino massif, the two targets selected for the FSSF were Monte la Difensa and Monte la Remetanea. The first, Difensa, appeared to be virtually impregnable. The dormant volcano provided the German troops with an ideal defensive position. Armed with machine guns and mortars, the German defenders could easily hold off an assault on the ramp-like southern slope which offered the only passable approach to the top. The northern face of the mountain featured almost vertical 200-foot high cliffs. Two previous attempts to take Difensa had been made on the southern slope by the 3rd and 36th US Infantry Divisions. Both attempts had been made with roughly 20,000 men, and both had been repelled with a high casualty rate. The Allies were no closer to taking Difensa.
Six hundred men of the First Special Service Force were assigned a position that thousands of men had failed to take. The FSSF had been in the field only once before, for the Kiska mission, and heavy combat was expected for Difensa. It was to be a trial by fire for the new Force.

And they all need the International Space Station as a launching point for their landings on Mars. Who will gain control and conquer the others?

 | Satsuma Rebellion version 1.2 rated 3.6 (80 votes) by Kartofile | From 1639 to 1854, Japan's government banned virtually all contact between its people and the outside world, isolating and preserving its feudal society while the rest of the world underwent two centuries of enormous change. When the policy was reversed and the country finally reopened, Japan was thrust from a medieval era into an industrial one. Many samurai resisted the new order but were overpowered by the imperial government and its modern army. They made their final stand in 1877, led by Saigo Takamori in the province of Satsuma. Their story was the basis for the fictional 2003 film, “The Last Samurai.” |

Each power has a different base of strength, ranging from small and rich areas to broad expanses of land.

 | Florida - Tourist Revolt version 1.1 rated 3.6 (59 votes) by Mark Bauer | Supplies of taxidermy alligator heads and faux driftwood are running dangerously low due to a labor dispute at the local factory. All over the state tourist hotspots become bloody battlegrounds. Florida's residents are at first in shock, but are soon forced to defend their sunny homeland against this barbaric invasion of bright shirts, slow drivers, and oversized straw hats. The tourist Mecca of Orlando is growing increasingly stronger as a constant stream of tourists fly into Orlando International Airport. Will Florida fall under the thumb of the oppressive tourists?
