The Japanese Navy aims to deal a crippling blow to the Americans and destroy their offensive capability. The plan is to lure the few American aircraft carriers into a trap, while at the same time capturing the strategic island of Midway. Unbeknownst to Japanese Admiral Nagumo, the Americans have broken the Japanese code and have set a trap of their own! Can American Admiral Chester Nimitz finally turn the tides of war?
